This hotel is fantastic.Staff is friendly.Location is great.Rooms are spacious and clean.There is a variety of food at this all inclusive resort for everyone's taste.Did not see any flies or mosquitoes. Plenty of seafood.The hotel is close to Antlantico shopping centre where you can do a grocery shopping too at Eurospar.The beach is fantastic. Water is crystal clear.Animation at night is lovely Kasia, the public relation officer is knowledgeable,and so helpful.Thank you Kasia.A special thank to the receptionist Daniel too.He answered our questions and was helpful.This hotel is great for family with kids as well as adults.I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a lovely joyful holiday.

“A lovey hotel supported by great staff”

Just back from a week stay and our first experience of Fuerteventura. Great time had by myself, husband and two children. Just back from a week stay and our first experience of Fuerteventura. Great time had by myself, husband and two children. Food has been very average post pandemic in many hotels due to lack of staff so was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food. Big shout out to Davide on reception who checked us in and out and dealt with a query we had regarding towels - he was exceptional! Very friendly, efficient and excellent service getting welcome drinks from us rather than just directing us to the table where the drinks were. Also huge shout out to the amazing animation team. We have been to many hotels and experienced varying degrees of kids clubs but the one at the Elba was again exceptional. Thanks you to all the kids club team for adding that extra special touch to my kids holiday - Niki, Aiton, Ruben Daniel and Shannon (apologies if misspelt!) The hotel has a lovely location set right on the beach and next to a shopping centre which is perfect. 20 minute walk round to the marina or you can hire and jump on an electric scooter which are fun. xx

“50th Birthday Break”

We booked a 10 night holiday all inclusive at the Elba Sara for the wife’s 50th birthday after reading good reviews. The hotel has had a makeover in most areas which gives it a fresh look, the room we were allocated on the 2nd floor was very nice, large walk in shower, nice LED lighting, WC etc. and for some reason a telephone within reach of the toilet !! It comes with a 55” TV with the ability to cast from your phone. Most annoyingly though, everytime you insert your door card when entering the room the tv comes on reasonably loud and you have to turn it off. 60 seconds later the tv comes on again when it switches the HDMI to casting, you have to turn it off again, going into the settings on the TV I managed to turn the casting issue off. There are plenty of sunbeds round the pool area and are always free whatever time you require one, although we are in April so this may change in high season. The poolside has fixed umbrellas in limited amounts so be wary if this is a must for you. Now to the not so good parts: Food - There is the main restaurant which serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and the poolside bar which serves drinks and snacks at certain times. The food is down there with the worst I have had in an AI hotel. To be honest both of us do not look forward to meal times, the wife had a piece of chicken freshly cooked on the grille and it was raw inside, most of the food is cold and is not kept heated once layed out. If you wait for a new batch to be layed out these are normally like warm. This morning at breakfast the scrambled eggs were not touched as they were seriously undercooked, mostly liquid. I’m eating boiled new potatoes, bread rolls, cheese etc. Round the pool most people are saying the same. Housekeeping - As the rooms are clean and have had a makeover I cannot tell if the cleaners have been into the room to clean, the only way of telling is to look in the bins to see if they have been emptied. On the surface the beds look as if they have been made but pull back the covers and you see the bed sheets have been left as you slept in them. The sheets have not been changed either as one has a hole in it. We are on day 5 and the towels have not been changed yet, apparently you have to ask for them to be changed rather than the usual put them on the floor or in the bath. I assume ask at reception as it’s not clear who to ask by the leaflet in the room. Pool Bar - good for fruit etc but not great for hamburgers etc. these are layed out, not covered and are warm at best, we tried it once and left. The service at the bar is bad and the lady who serves has a serious attitude problem. I now just drink coffee or sprite from the self service machines. Lounge Area / Bar - this areas is quite pleasant with plenty of seating, sofas etc. the bar staff are very nice and friendly, service is reasonably quick, nights have some local singers, which most people seem to enjoy. The hotel as a whole is very nice but I’d let down by the food, housekeeping etc. Because of this we would not return.
