Super friendly staff,clean apartment with plenty of space, great variety of food. I am returning this year and looking forward to another wonderful holiday. The whole vibe is one of customer care and ensuring your holiday is the best they can give

“Solo 4 night mini break”

This was my first solo holiday so opted for a 4 night break away. Arrived late afternoon and check in was smooth.The size of the complex was somewhat overwhelming. I Managed to find my accommodation and was really happy with the apartment (one bedroom superior apartment) Managed to find the shop on site, small but stocked most things i needed. I downloaded the Barcelo app and booked into the restaurant for my evening meal. This was a very typical buffet style meal,but there were a lot of choices, even for the fussiest of eaters. I am easy to please where food is concerned but it was disappointing to find the food only warm, not hot.This was the case at all mealtimes. I managed to locate a microwave in the restaurant and heated my food up, but you shouldn't have to. Drinks were charged additionally, and i was billed for this on my check out, no problem with this but would have been nice if the drinks could be included on the half board. Rooms were very modern with lots of space, for me anyway. The bed was amazing, I normally struggle to sleep when i am away but had no problems here, they were that comfortable.Rooms were cleaned daily, although as i was on my own, I didn't need it everyday and advised the housekeepers of this. Plenty of towels available in the apartment. I have never been to Fuerteventura and was disappointed in how quiet it was. I like to go for walks and explore the shops in the morning but there was very little to find. Area was mainly flat so good to walk on, especially as i suffer with illnesses which can affect my mobility.Would i go back, probably not as it was too quiet, but i would certainly stay in a Barcelo accommodation elsewhere.I found a great bar on my last night, (typical!!) at the nearby shopping centre, called something like Pierrdo's where the live music was amazing, wish i had discovered this on my first night as it would have made a real difference to my holiday.

“Making memories”

We enjoyed our holiday,rooms were great nice space and location excellent, we were let down by food especially the snack bar,food was so much better at the mar,we probably would come back but would not pay for alinclusive. Staff are lovely.

Our apartment which overlooked the beach was a bit tired looking and the bathroom was very grotty in the corners - i could literally scrape the grime off with my nail in places! Our apartment which overlooked the beach was a bit tired looking and the bathroom was very grotty in the corners - i could literally scrape the grime off with my nail in places! It was decorated nicely - think Ikea / Habitat. No toaster in the kitchen area though! Our beds were super comfy - pillows lovely and soft and towels really fluffy. The maid will visit every day if needed. TV was frustrating - only 2 English channels - Al Jazeera news and BBC News - it would have been nice to have more channels in this day and age! We had an ant infestation one day but it got sorted really quickly! The buffet restaurant has a huge variety of food available and its of real good quality - however the meats were often cold - they didn't seem to have a system for keeping anything like that warm - you soon learned what to pick and what to avoid. It was all tasty though - and there was always a freshly cooked option - i.e. fish being fried off in front of you. A big gripe was that the waiters were always too eager to clear your plates sometimes when you hadn't even finished !! So mealtimes weren't very relaxing - they felt rushed. I understand why they were doing it - because they needed the crockery to be cleared to be washed and ready for the next customers, and i get that - but they just need to rein it in a bit. Can i just say though that they were all lovely and friendly! Buffet at the poolside bar was a bit grim - food cold and blooming pigeons nicking bits off it !! lol I also wasn't impressed with the ready mixed cocktails - they're quite expensive for ready mixed i thought ! La Perlita snack bar around the promenade was great - it was my fave place to go for lunch - pizzas were great even the salads were nice !! lol Proper mixed ...strong cocktails too !!! Despite the niggles - i will be back - its a super location!
