“Value for money”

The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom is big and water pressure is good. Location is convenient and near to the food street. Staff are helpful and courteous. The food delivery robot makes order food delivery easy. Breakfast is average with both Chinese and western choices.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel when on business in Shantou. I was in a Deluxe Double Room on a reasonably high floor which had a view. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and functional. I stayed 2 nights at this hotel when on business in Shantou. I was in a Deluxe Double Room on a reasonably high floor which had a view. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and functional. The AC in the room worked well which was good as it was hot in Shantou in August. If you don't mind a walk you can walk the 3.5Km from the Hotel to the old Stone Fort, which I did twice. It is perfectly safe walking around and a great way to mix with the locals. I did not eat the hotel breakfast so I can't comment but I did take a look and it looked 'okay' but nothing special. I paid £95 per night for the room, including taxes, via Expedia.

“Poor 5 stars hotel”

I don't how they rate the hotel in China but this one falls very far from a 5 star. Rooms furniture is very old, food in the buffet is always the same everyday, peopel at the desk speak very poor english, the swimming pool need to be redone.
