We are a group of ladies who holiday together for a week every year. Villa Denise Appartments had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing holiday. Our 2 bed apartment was clean and tidy and with a balcony off each bedroom there was a surprising amount of space. The owners were friendly and helpful. We'd recommend the wine from the pool bar!

The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our 2 bedroom apartment was full of character with plenty of space on 2 big balconies, air-con, and a kitchen with ample amenities. Daily cleaning and towels change service was immaculate. We had a top floor apartment so the bathroom had a low ceiling and there is no lift facility so I would suggest asking for a ground floor if you have accessibility issues. The building is set back from the main streets but just a short walk from all the restaurants, bars and shops. The pool is nice with a poolside bar and very intimate surroundings - play area / wendy house for little kids and areas of shade if required. Pool is clean and bar has reasonably priced stock of beer, wine soft drinks etc. On the whole, we really enjoyed and would recommend this place to families looking to stay in Argassi!

“Friendly place in lovely setting”

Had a very enjoyable week at the apartments. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The balcony views were stunning, the owners were so friendly. Pool area was lovely.....we visited in September 2017.....enjoyed it so much have just rebooked and paid for September 2018 :-).

We arrived and was greeted by a pleasant looking apartments with big trees in front and well maintained planting we arrived at the reception area again was clean and tidy and Vicki introduce herself who runs the apartments with her family – and I must say what a wonderful family they were – they worked so hard to try and keep the place clean and tidy and always had a smile on their faces and would do anything to help you – but you could tell straight away that they were trying to run these apartments by themselves and were struggling at times – but we both wanted to give an honest account of our stay but feel we don’t want to upset them in anyway. Room Our room was clean and well presented with Air con and safe deposit box, the bed looked new and was very comfortable unfortunately the bathroom looked old with cracked tiles it was not good - we did notice when the other rooms were being cleaned their bathrooms had been completed to a high standard and looked like we were the only room left. We also had a small balcony overlooking the car park which did have olive trees in the break the view up with a table and chairs with washing lines at both ends which was a good idea but being on the ground floor if a car pulled up outside you had very little privacy unless you kept the curtain’s closed. We would not class the apartment as self-catering apart from the fridge the cooking would have been on a hot plate and trying to cook something would be dangerous as no clear surface available. We did have a toaster and kettle but after a couple of days the kettle disappeared – the rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed every other day but I was worried about the security of the rooms when being cleaned as 3 or 4 rooms were cleaned at the same time so the cleaner could only be in one room at a time leaving the others open and on many occasions the main keys were just left on the table in the hallway!! . Pool Area The pool looked clean on arrival but after a couple of days looked cloudy and it was being cleaned one day whilst we were swimming so trying to get passed the hose not great H&S. A pool bar was on site but due to Vicki being soo busy if she was not there it was hit and miss if you got a drink – her Dad did try a spend some time in the bar area in the afternoon but it was poorly stocked – the sunbeds looked very old and were very uncomfortable. Overall A pleasant stay – Vicki is trying to get the place up and running to a good standard and is doing a good job but she needs help to achieve this but once the rooms are all finished and the bar area sorted it will be even better – we will defiantly stay again.
