· We choose this property because it has great reviews, said it was very clean and the host were helpful. That didn't come close to describing our experience there. The rooms are beyond clean - they are immaculate!!! Cleanest place I have ever stayed. The design is wonderful, spacious, homey and has everything you need. You could live in those apartments for a month and be very comfortable. The owners care for the property is obvious from the flowers, the over all grounds and care of every detail inside and out. The owners were beyond helpful!!! Oscar helped us with the border crossing to Chili, found us a taxi coming and going, kept our rental car safe and left over luggage while we were gone and had his daughter go with me to the police station to pick up my phone I lost. If these apartments with this kind of service was in the US it would be a 5 star resort. We were in Patagonia for 3 weeks and this was by far our best accommodations and our best hosts. Thank you for everything! We will be back and I would NEVER consider staying anywhere else in Esquel. A 10 just doesn't do this place justice.

Die Lage ist ziemlich zentral, es liegt in der Nähe des Dinosaur Museum und die lokalen Museum. Wenn Sie einen frühen Flug am Morgen von Trelew, dies ist eine gute Wahl. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, aber nicht luxuriös. Wir kamen in Trelew am Sonntag und fanden, dass sehr wenig war in Trelew am Sonntag geöffnet und es war schwer zu finden und ooen Restaurant. Es gibt nicht viel mehr zu tun als die zwei Museen am Sonntag, also würde ich empfehlen ein Abend der Ankunft, wenn Sie vorhaben, werden es am Sonntagabend.

“Friendly, rather bad value”

Staff was very friendly what was the most positive experience here. Otherwise it was so-so. Very tired, worn carpets, outdated bathroom. Our room was really small, even though it was not the smallest available. But it had a little balcony with somewhat obstructed sea views.

This medium-size, simple hotel is located in Puerto Madryn city, near Península Valdés (this important info is surprisingly not available in the webpage of Trip Advisor, where the hotel's street address is mentioned but the city is not!). Hotel location is acceptably good, at short walking distance from seaside boulevard, beach, and city center, in an area with plenty of restaurants, travel agencies and other hotels. The hotel is simple, clean, quiet, service is OK, but the place is not especially beautiful, charming, or interesting. Breakfast is acceptable but boring. The hotel is just good enough to spend 1 or 2 nights in Puerto Madryn, from where you can visit nearby Panínsula de Valdés. Further away southwards you can also visit Punta Tombo (magnificent penguin sanctuary). If you are searching for a charming hotel, look for somewhere else.
