“Shop around”

Very nice place in a good location for the beach. The family restaurans are a bit further away. But with a kitchenette and nearby large grocery story, one can eat in. The units are privately owned, so prices can vary, especially for an extended stay.

“Friendly staff but noisy and with infrastructure issues ”

I was at the 2nd floor, with windows facing Abolição Avenue, which usually has heavy traffic even at night. I was at the 2nd floor, with windows facing Abolição Avenue, which usually has heavy traffic even at night. To make things worst, the air conditioner did not work well and was very noisy, even noisier than the street outside. I asked to change to another room but the place was crowded and there was no room available so I managed to return to another hotel I’ve stayed at a few days earlier. On my last day on Praia Mansa, when I entered my room at the end of the day, I found the air conditioner power cord removed from the outlet, which was blackened and looked like it almost melted. The staff placed me on another room, supposedly better than the other. The view was magnificent but, again, the air conditioner did not work well. The staff was friendly and usually helpful but, in spite of looking a relatively new building, the rooms seem to require better maintenance.

“Building partly under construction.....very noisy....”

We have been here several times and if the price is OK we are fine.... BUT !!!! They are renovating the Fassade of this 22floor building -that means noise the whole day in the apartments and at the small pool - which is dirty even they closed the pool yesterday during the afternoon !!!!! We have been here several times and if the price is OK we are fine.... BUT !!!! They are renovating the Fassade of this 22floor building -that means noise the whole day in the apartments and at the small pool - which is dirty even they closed the pool yesterday during the afternoon !!!!! For cleaning.....bad job boy.... WiFi very weak.... Camareirá quiet uninterested..... had to ask again for new towels toiletries- paper etc. Don't use the restaurant for breakfast.....Desaster..... Opposite side hotel tropical has a wonderful bkfst buffet for the same price
