This in an international brand so as you might expect it is just that. Huge reception with delightful water feature. English speaking bi lingual receptionists and generally good rooms which are spacious and well equipped. Most of these international brands have exclusive dining floor for the more expensive rooms and the Intercontinental does too however was closed when we visited on 3-5 March 2026 which is a bit poor. Swimming pool was pleasant enough albeit a bit bracing. Reminded me of the North Sea at Scarborough in the height of summer. You gasp on entry and get out quickly. I must give special mention to room service breakfast and have attached pictures. It was definitely dreadful in every respects and does not reflect the 5* brand this company has worked hard to build and maintain. It arrived on a try without class. No tea pot, no coffee pot, no cup & saucer or milk jug to be seen, no sugar. Two boiled eggs in a bowl without an egg cup, no salt & pepper condiments, 8 slices of soggy, limp toast both white & brown with just 2 measly pots of unsalted butter and then equally small amounts of strawberry & blueberry jams. The pancakes were cold & served on a side plate, there was no sliced bananas or maple syrup or sweet buttered. The honey wasn’t enough to cover a single pancake never mind four. Orange juice? Oh I think, I really don’t know what to think other than it want orange that was squeezed. My advice is don’t listen to À la Carte breakfast - you’ll be sorely dissatisfied. It sounds terrific but in reality it is terrible. I blame the management - obviously aren’t up to muster and need to be flown to Head Office and trained properly in what is meant by an American breakfast or breakfast specialties

“Wyndham Grand review”

The room is very good.The hotel is in good location. The internet is not so good. The service in the front desk is very good. The service in the room can be better. The breakfast is very rich although the tomatoes were not fresh. .

Stay here for 4D3N with my family. First impression is very grand and luxury design. However once I stepped in, I almost wanted to change hotel. The smoker smell is everywhere in the hotel even in the hotel room I still smell it (I am not a smoker). Room design is very grand like Hilton, however you can hear the noise from the corridor. Breakfast here is nice but food run out fast (advise, have your breakfast at least 30min before it closed). Lucky the restaurant supervisor manage to grab some food directly from the kitchen for me (my daughter can't wake up early for breakfast) Housekeeping staff are well train, English speaking and very polite. Location is very strategic, near shopping street and local food street.

“Could be better…..”

Room is clean ,large and spacious. Good amenities. However, Wifi is very poor. Breakfast buffet with very good selection. Bed and pillows are comfortable, although air conditioning not so good.Hope they do read this review to improve on these aspects.
