This secluded but very close to the town square (4-6 minute car ride or a 15-20 minute walk), it is very colonial, quiet, and just beautiful. the food is great, the overall customer service is outstanding, but Carlos' level of customer service and dedication is what can be expected only at a 5 star hotel. I stayed there with my family, and we all enjoyed the view, the tranquility, the fire place and coziness of it all.

“Beautiful mountain retreat!”

My only regret is not spending more time here. This is a fantastic little hotel up in the mountains of Santa Elena above Medellin. Beautiful colonial farm house. My only regret is not spending more time here. This is a fantastic little hotel up in the mountains of Santa Elena above Medellin. Beautiful colonial farm house. The rooms are cozy and heated by a fireplace (wood included), and it is a little chilly at night. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. the inner courtyard serves the dining area, and a TV is in the shared sitting room. Good wifi. It is not in the city nor that close to the airport (sort of half-way between), so it isn't a convenience stay. Come here to enjoy the area. It's about 1.5km to the tiny village of Santa Elena, with a church and restaurants, and about 12km to the Parque Arvi. The hotel serves breakfast (included), lunch and dinner (extra) if you don't want to venture out. The food was great, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I came with a bicycle and explored the area that way. Your exploration options may be limited without some sort of vehicle, though it is very easy to get there by taxi, and they will arrange transport to the airport. Massages/spa packages are offered that I did not try. Good spot to just escape from the city for a couple of nights. The room doors are locked with padlocks, so if you keep the key, no housekeeping service. I'm sure they'd come service the room if you ask. i wasn't there long enough to need much.

I will say this! If you want peace and quiet with an old hacienda charm, then Casa Mosaico is the place for that long getaway in a mountain setting. I'll start with the accommodations. The rooms were charming. The service impeccable and the food- Natural and organic, from Breakfast to lunch and dinner for a finish. The food was tasty and at a super price that even food critics would write home about. I recommend that the traveler along with family with family will have an unforgettable experience at the quaint and lovely boutique hotel. A grateful Latin American.

Vi valgte Casa Mosaico fordi vi mente det var i nærheten av flyplassen. Det lille faktum er feil -- det er ikke nær i det hele tatt, men det er en svingete 30 minutters dykk i en vakker, klosteret som hotel som ligger i åsene i Santa Elena. Herman, jeg tror han er sjefen, er en nydelig ung mann som går ut av sitt gode skinn for å få deg til å føle deg komfortabel. Rommene er rustikt og romantisk og har alle de grunnleggende ting du trenger pluss en peis som er nødvendig på natten når temps slipp betraktelig. Wifi fungerer godt i felles områder og på rommene i spisesalen. Dette er et tilbaketrukket sted å gjemme meg bort i men ikke for en rask stopp hvis du bare trenger å være i Medellin for en dag (en rundtur taxi til og fra hotellet til sentrum vil koste deg omtrent $40 000 COP). Hvis du må dra til flyplassen, har Herman ordne det fordi du vil spare penger og sjåføren han bruker vet alle snarveier.
