“Excellent service!”

Christina was a delight and made our night by getting us into eat after a long day.

Stayed in this hotel for the first time as it was near to Raigmore hospital and also handy for the City centre. Plenty of local service buses to choose from meant getting in/out of the city was easy. Hotel room was adequate but we could certainly hear and feel the cars, vans, lorries and trains dur… Plus

Stayed in this hotel for the first time as it was near to Raigmore hospital and also handy for the City centre. Plenty of local service buses to choose from meant getting in/out of the city was easy. Hotel room was adequate but we could certainly hear and feel the cars, vans, lorries and trains during the night. Hotel has two buildings and we found that as we were in the second block, there was no covered walkway between our block and the main block. A 20 metre open air walk could prove uncomfortable in inclement weather ! The layout of the hotel means that the restaurant cooking area is up a flight of stairs so the serving staff have to navigate these stairs with hot food, not an ideal scenario. Overall we would consider this hotel but it depends on what reason we have for visiting Inverness.

“Did the job - needs maintenance”

Location good for where we needed to be - but do bear in mind it's on the edge of the main dual carriageway going into Inverness. Staff very friendly. Good size bar and dining area. Food was fine (you don't go to a Prem Inn for the food but it was surprisingly good!). Bed was v comfortable. Bathroo… Plus

Location good for where we needed to be - but do bear in mind it's on the edge of the main dual carriageway going into Inverness. Staff very friendly. Good size bar and dining area. Food was fine (you don't go to a Prem Inn for the food but it was surprisingly good!). Bed was v comfortable. Bathroom worked as always. BUT....the room smelt of old ashtrays (really unpleasant)and the aircon didn't work, so it was very hot and opening the window was impossible. The chef blew a fuse with the lovely serving lady and refused to produce any pudding at the end of dinner. He was obviously very unkind to her. Not a big deal for us - it was only ice cream - but he shouldn't behave like that.

“Disappointed”

Disappointed. Have been here numerous times over the past 20 years, and always been extremely happy, unfortunately not so good this time, mainly with housekeeping. There 5 nights and 3 days the room wasn't cleaned after we told reception every morning that we would like it cleaned. Air conditionin… Plus

Disappointed. Have been here numerous times over the past 20 years, and always been extremely happy, unfortunately not so good this time, mainly with housekeeping. There 5 nights and 3 days the room wasn't cleaned after we told reception every morning that we would like it cleaned. Air conditioning was faulty. On all the time including during the night and NO hot water in the sink on two occasions. Shower was ok. Pub was excellent though.
