“Value For Money.”
This gets a 5 for value for money. A nice hotel in a great walkable location. Rooms were a bit larger than normal in Japan. Linen and bedding were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of Japanese choices, and some western too.

“Well situated and large rooms”
We stayed at this hotel through an organized group tour. The hotel rooms are fairly large. The bathroom is a little dated, but it works well. The beds are comfortable. “Nice place to stay”
This was a lovely hotel with decent sized rooms - bigger than most in Japan. Our room had a little sitting area, which was quite nice. “Good location but low on creature comforts.”
Very well located but tired rooms and unappealing breakfast. Bathroom had steep step up and curtains did not darken the room. Staff was very pleasant and hotel was very clean.
