I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews ahead of time or we would have passed this place up. Yes, the hall carpets looked very stained, but no smells. The room was clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet. We parked right by the front door and they had luggage carts to use. The breakfast was not powdered eggs as far as I could tell, and the orange juice was fresh. There was jelly for the toast. We had flavored oatmeal, waffles, sausage patties, fresh white and wheat toast, flavored yogurt cups, cold cereals, and surprisingly good coffee with real half and half. The breakfast area was kept very clean. We had my service dog with us and were on our way back across several states when dangerous storms came across the midwest for two days. This was an unplanned stop. We were thankful for the affordability. The staff was professional and gave us extra towels, wash cloths, and coffee. The towels were thick, lovely, and white…probably new. There are several nice stores and restaurants nearby. We plan on staying here for the same trip next year.
