“A gem in Kanazawa!”

We had a really great time. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. The location is amazing, close to many sights, shopping and restaurants. “Well situated and large rooms”

We stayed at this hotel through an organized group tour. The hotel rooms are fairly large. The bathroom is a little dated, but it works well. The beds are comfortable. The hotel has reciprocal privileges with its sister property next door, which is a fancier place. They do have a wine/happy hour … lisää

We stayed at this hotel through an organized group tour. The hotel rooms are fairly large. The bathroom is a little dated, but it works well. The beds are comfortable. The hotel has reciprocal privileges with its sister property next door, which is a fancier place. They do have a wine/happy hour next door at their sister hotel that you can take advantage of. This hotel has a laundry room with three all-in-ones machine (wash and dry). It cost about ¥500 to do a wash and dry load, and takes about two hours. I thought that the breakfast buffet was very good. It had a lot of different foods, and I believe they were having a Hokkaido-themed week, so there were some specialties that were particular to that island.

“Nice place to stay”

This was a lovely hotel with decent sized rooms - bigger than most in Japan. Our room had a little sitting area, which was quite nice. It was in a good location within walking distance of many sights. They had US-style washcloths, which we loved! There was decent shelf space for toiletries in the b… lisää

This was a lovely hotel with decent sized rooms - bigger than most in Japan. Our room had a little sitting area, which was quite nice. It was in a good location within walking distance of many sights. They had US-style washcloths, which we loved! There was decent shelf space for toiletries in the bathroom and a good number of towel bars and hooks, but the toilet paper was terrible – some of the worst we’ve encountered anywhere – a lot like tissue paper. They provide daily housekeeping service – another positive. The staff was very friendly, but there was not much English spoken amongst them. Breakfast was just OK, but was certainly sufficient. Overall, it was very nice and we’d stay again.

“Good location but low on creature comforts.”

Very well located but tired rooms and unappealing breakfast. Bathroom had steep step up and curtains did not darken the room. Staff was very pleasant and hotel was very clean.
