“Absolutely beautiful and peaceful!”

Balcón de la Plaza is such a beautiful hotel! It is central to the busy plaza but so quiet and peaceful within the hotel. Balcón de la Plaza is such a beautiful hotel! It is central to the busy plaza but so quiet and peaceful within the hotel. My room was spacious and very comfortable and even had access to a private courtyard shared with just one other room! The staff is incredibly kind and wonderful. So lucky to have found this hotel during my stay in Salta. I can’t wait to return and will recommend this hotel to everyone!

“Spacious comfortable hotel with perfect location”

Our expert guide Pablo booked this hotel once he found that the one I had was too far from Salta downtown. Great location just seconds from the Cathedral and city center and all the restaurants. Nice spacious and comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff who did everything they could for us. Decent bre… lisää

Nice spacious and comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff who did everything they could for us. Decent breakfast. The only con I can recall is that getting your bags to the room can be a little difficult. There is no elevator, and one has to get through a few doors

“Best location in Salta”

Absolutely great location, just a block from the main square but very quite as the rooms face inwards away from the street. Rooms are well spaced but not large, bathroom has a shower and bath and the the rooms cleaning is good. Front desk very helpful. Breakfast adequate without being special but p… lisää

Absolutely great location, just a block from the main square but very quite as the rooms face inwards away from the street. Rooms are well spaced but not large, bathroom has a shower and bath and the the rooms cleaning is good. Front desk very helpful. Breakfast adequate without being special but plenty to eat. Nice touch of coffee and tea available 24 hrs by the breakfast room…..they don’t tell you. Would stay here again and recommend.

“Great Central location”

We chose here to be central in Salta so we could walk out in the evening easily. Location wise this hotel can’t be bettered. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful with the bags as our room was upstairs and there is no lift. Our room was nicely finished with safe, fridge and AC but o… lisää

We chose here to be central in Salta so we could walk out in the evening easily. Location wise this hotel can’t be bettered. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful with the bags as our room was upstairs and there is no lift. Our room was nicely finished with safe, fridge and AC but on the small side with now where to put anything down like a table. We were a bit concerned about the shower as it was in a very slippery bath and there was no non-slip mat. The bed was very comfortable. There was a lot of hammering and drilling from the adjacent hotel, reception were very helpful and went to ask what was going on but the noise didn’t finish until 11.00. Hopefully this was a one-off. Breakfast is standard Argentine fare, with a choice of freshly cooked eggs. It started at 7am and we had to leave at 7.45 so we thought that would be fine. When we arrived at 7 a large party of French tourists had arrived early and eaten nearly everything on the table, the staff worked hard to replace it but we never got any fruit salad.
