Had a great experience with Benjor - the accommodation was a little tired but the resort location, snorkelling, food and staff more than made up for this (and to be honest so did the price we paid which was outstanding compared to what our friends who also travelled at teh same time paid staying in Port Vila town at one of the so-called 4 star big resorts). We had great views from our decks - we stayed in 2 of the one bedroom villas - spacious with fridge and own bathroom and good size deck. As said a little tired abut it was clean and the views were all we really wanted after a full day of sight seeing and swimming. We did have a some problems with getting consistant hotwater but mainteance was pretty quick at trying to sort the problem. The staff are truly outstanding - loved "Big Fred' who has apparently been there for at least 10 years and certainly gave us some great advice of what to do and see. Can highly recommend Nono and Sam - two of the bus drivers from the Village - we just arranged our own day fare with them on two occasions - cheaper than doing a prepaid tour and more personal. This was a very relaxing and beautiful stay and we fell in love with Vanuatu. Would look at coming back.

“Lovely spot But!”

A great spot but too far from town down a terrible road. No infrastructure on the island leaves this resort and others lacking the wow factor the stunning location deserve. Nicer places to holiday but the locals need our tourist dollars

We stayed for a week in Benjor and as much as it is a very basic resort, it has all we needed. We had a two bedroom apartment, with kitchenette - which was a plus to make simple meals. We stayed for a week in Benjor and as much as it is a very basic resort, it has all we needed. We had a two bedroom apartment, with kitchenette - which was a plus to make simple meals. The restaurant is basic as well but the service was good. The beach is suitable to snorkel straight off of - but make sure you wear reef shoes! It has a drop beach which the reef drops at least 6+ metres deep with plenty of fish. We stayed here in January and the weather was lovely - Tip the resort is a little remote and we hired a car which was the best thing we did!
