“Great, modern hotel”

We stayed in this hotel after visiting Santuario de Las Lajas. The service was great, very attentive and accommodating. We ate dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a great bottle of wine. Breakfast buffet was very nice. The beds and bedding were top quality. We would definitely stay there again.

Great. Big bed. Nice dinner. Great desk. Delicious coffee. Is a little bit noisy because it's in the downtown but you can live with that. It has gym, sauna, etc. for free. It's near to the place to the airports cabs stop.

This hotel is in a great location, with easy walking access to the main squares of Pasto. The hotel itself is modern, safe, and comfortable. When we were offered a room literally right beside the front desk and entryway, we asked if they had a different room, and they upgraded us to their nicest suite. That kind of service really sets this hotel apart. Additionally, they have nice amenities, such as free "minibar" items (some cookies, sodas, and other snacks), mini-fridge, a tea at check-in, and an evening tea served in a thermos so it is still hot when you find it in the room. Breakfast has a few egg options, and was really delicious, as was the coffee. The front desk was super helpful with planning our daytrip to Ipiales to see Las Lajas, and they also helped us with getting to La Cocha, and organizing a taxi to the airport. The downsides to the hotel are that their restaurant isn't open for dinner on Sundays or festivos (and neither is anything in town). We had a really hard time finding a spot for dinner on a Sunday night, and felt that we should be able to count on our hotel to feed us when the whole city is shut down for the night. The other downside is that it is easy to hear what is going on in the hallways. We heard a lot of street noise as well. Not a problem for my friend, but as I am a light sleeper it was a bit frustrating. Still, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Stayed for the week of the carnaval. Very good central location, between the two main plazas. Spacious rooms. Perfect daily cleaning. Restraunt offers dinner menu. VERY helpful receptionists. Things I didn't like: They don't respond to reservation correspondence, even after promising to do so. I had to ask a local friend to call and nag. Brkfst is small and repetitive. Hot water in the shower only after a 3 minutes wait; at the sink - only after running the shower as well (!). The hotel is a 3-floors open atrium, with loud acoustics. My room was directly above the rstrnt's noise. Ask for a room in another section.
