“Friendly, happy Hotel”

This hotel is up there with some of the best in Benidorm. It is spotlessly clean, it's modern and it ticks all the boxes. Upon arrival we were met with friendly, professional staff. This continued throughout our stay. Friendly cleaning staff, friendly bar staff, friendly restaurant staff. Always service with a smile. Food was of a high standard with good choices. The breakfast was particularly good. Eggs poached, fried, scrambled and a choice of omelettes. And of course the usual full English plus churros, cereals, pastries, yoghurts, fruit, the lot really, 1 criticism was that the food could be a little warm rather than hot sometimes but I think when you are cooking for lots of people it can be tricky to keep food very hot. Lovely pool area with Balinese beds which as far as I am aware were free. A nice pool bar and very strict on plastic only outside. So no worries about broken glass anywhere. The ash trays were foil and they do blow about in the wind so I think plastic ones may be better. Comfv sunbeds and never had a problem getting one. We opted to pay extra for the pool view but to be honest the street view wouldn't have bothered us. We like to people watch! I would recommend pool view for those with small children. There is a little jacuzzi on the edge of the pool and a kids pool. There's also a little play park. This hotel benefits from having the Philippines bar directly underneath which is part of the hotel. Great acts on every night. The Greatest Showman is a must. Drinks are very reasonable. You get a discount in there with your room card and you get a discount at theAmbassador Hotel too as well as a few other bars. What I really liked about this hotel was the prices of the drinks and food. The hotel are not greedy and charge very good prices for both. A baguette was around 4 euro 50 and a kids meal 3 euro 50 which I thought was great. Burgers I think were no more than 5 euro and omelets with chips and salad around 4 euro 50. On this basis I give the hotel 5 stars because they are definitely one of the best. Just loved our stay and would return. Thanks to all 😊

Firstly a big thank you to Mariangeles Gonzalez at the reservations office The manager and staff of the hotel . Myself and my wife were supposed to be at the Presidente for our sixth stay during Christmas 2023 sadly due to myself having a critical illness the holiday had to be cancelled and thanks to the hotel they allowed us to rebook during April. We had a pool view room on a full board basis the room was clean and modern with a good shower safe and large flat screen t.v however the t.v did freeze on a quite a number of occasions. The food at the restaurant was generally very good but a little bit repetitive. The lounge area was very clean and tidy with good service and very reasonable prices for a 4 star hotel. The only problem I really had was the tea bags and sachets of coffee had to be paid for at reception once the four complimentary ones had run out thats not 4 star and also not enough to cover a 10 night stay. During our stay I had to attend a clinic for I.N.R blood test for warfarin levels, there are several around priced between ten and thirty euro .The one I attended was 10 euro under the bus station near Calle Gerona it is open 9/9 Mon/Fri and does INR levels between 9/10.30 with the results the same day after 7pm there is another doctor Hilde Buyse on the Mediterranean down an alley opposite the casino that was 30 euro and another one at the rear of the indoor market they spoke no English although they say have translators but wouldn’t help at all the staff are very rude and very unhelpful all in all a nice break after my illness even though the weather was changeable .

Stayed for one week rooms well appointed cleaned every day slightly disappointed that they charge €20 for room safe having given them £800 for the week onto breakfast plenty to choose from even have back bacon however the lady doing the omelettes drowned the omelet in salt it was that bad I couldn’t eat it didn’t have one the rest of the week onto the evening buffet it was ok lots of pork fish it was nice to be fair nice selection of desserts I would return however we do much prefer the don pancho stayed there many times and food much better so all in all a nice hotel would return but only on a b+b basis

“Great place but no better than anywhere else.”

Check in was relatively quick as there were 2 people on the desk. When checking out we noticed only one person checking people in. Check in was relatively quick as there were 2 people on the desk. When checking out we noticed only one person checking people in. I was disappointed that you had to pay extra for the safety deposit box and pool towels, I expected that some of these facilities would be included staying at a 4star+ hotel. The pool area was a bland not enticing at all. The rooms were great, with plenty of hangers, a small fridge and a large balcony. It would have been nice to have coffee and teas replenished in the room and we had to ask for shower gel. We were dropped off at a hotel down the road, which wasn’t too much of a problem but when the pickup was there too in the pouring rain, it wasn’t much fun. Food was plentiful but not very tasty.
