“Very convenience! My most frequent stay in Seoul”

I've been to Seoul many times, and 80% of my stays are at this hotel including my recent trip last week. It's not the nicest or the at the heart of the shopping area, but the convenience is there! First of all, it's located at the end of the bus line 6002 from the airport, so if you fall asleep on the bus, you are not going to miss the stop. A couple steps away from Metro, Starbucks, Paris baguette, and one of my fav coffee place, An angel in us coffee. Lotte department stores and more food is extremely near too. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful.

Located just beside cheongnyangni subway station and Lotte Plaza (lots of sales during summer!). 5 min walk to cheongnyangni fruits and vegetable market. Many local "ah jummah" homecooked style eateries nearby, cheap and good meals. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. But no English, although the concierge manager could speak very simple mandarin.

“Good value for business or solitary travel”

The hotel meets my expectations from reading other travellers' reviews. It was a bit difficult to locate it first after embarking from the airport bus as the sign was not in English (photo showed the hotel from the station). The hotel exterior and facility is typical of 2 star hotel. The hotel is located very near to Cheongyangni Station, so it makes a good base for travelling around Seoul. There is a traditional market nearby but catered more to local rather than tourist - a lot of fresh garlic, roots and meats (dog's meat too) are sold here. There is a pharmacy, grocery shop and coffee shop right in front of the hotel and Starbuck is just around the corner. Wifi is complimentary in lobby only. The room was just nice for single or couple. There is no cloth iron, or kettle and there is only one power socket that is located near the bathroom - I brought my own travelling iron and bought power extension from Yongsan to work in the room. Hot water is available from public station in each floor. Like other Korean hotel that I previously stayed, this one also does not have any wardrobe, only hooks and hangers.

Stay twice at New Boolim Tourist Hotel in recent years. Hote is locted near the Cheongyangni station and Lotte Department store for shopping. This is the last stop of the airport buses to the city. The nearnest to the subway makes it a very convenient hotel to travel to other parts in Seoul. Average beds and room has hooks on walls but no cabinets. Flat TV, ref. Slippers and toiletries were provided. There is a restaurant on the 2nd floor and 2 PC at the small lobby for hotel guest to use. At the back of the hotel is Seoul's red light district with ladies on display. Not advisable for families with young kids. The hotel has seen better days. Convenience store is just across the hotel with a bakery nearby. Lots of restaurants on the other side of the hotel.
