Overall I enjoyed my stay here very much. I was here last week with a few friends. Overall, the best thing this hotel offers is its proximity to the beautiful beach. That's exactly why we stayed here, and it delivered for that. Had a great view of the beach. The breakfast was large and had a lot of variety, but quality on some of the items was lacking (powdered eggs for scrambled eggs was noticeably bad). Also, the coffee coming from the various coffee machines in the breakfast room was noticeably weak - this should be an easy fix. Our room on the 6th floor was small but perfectly fine. Bed and pillows a little hard. But, great views of the beach made up for it. Loved how the hotel provided beach towels. Staff were okay - some were not that friendly, but most got the job done. One thing we all experienced was that we had to keep goign to the desk to have our room keys fixed. They always broke. every single time, and that was an annoyance. Location and proximity to restaurants in town was a plus. Despite some shortcomings, I would return to this hotel, primarily because of its prime beach location.

This hotel looks the part from the outside and has some redeeming features but it’s not cheap and we were a bit disappointed. We had a 3rd floor Deluxe double, with sea/beach view and the room was spacious with an enormous comfortable bed. The bathroom too was large, appeared freshly tiled and offered quality Rituals toiletries. Great shower. On the down side, the air con was very weak and the curtains, although they had liners, failed to keep out all the light. We had to keep having our keycards for the room fixed at reception and there was never an apology. In fact there was rarely a smile from reception staff, never mind a warm welcome. The guys in the bar were a different story, always cheery and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful but we didn’t rate the coffee. We tried the different machines but each took ages to produce a pretty weak lungo coffee. The breakfast room was very hectic and busy and it’s a shame there’s no outside space to it. It certainly wasn’t the most relaxing way to start the day.

The rooms here were just about average, the rooms and bathrooms were a little tired and parking was excessive despite getting three bikes in one space we were still individually billed. Restaurant staff were really helpful and went to great lengths to explain each dish. Food was pretty average Mediterranean style. Breakfast buffet was huge with plenty of cakes, hot and cold selections. It probably deserves a 3 and a half but that’s not possible. It’s definitely not a 4!
