“Nice hotel but remote location”

Went in March as a couple and for my husbands 40th. Beautiful hotel very clean and reception area smells amazing. Rooms are spacious and clean. Daily clean and bed made, but no sheet change. Ok with us but may not be everyone’s ideal. Location not ideal, a long walk to anything lively. Not central. We hired a car which was great for during the day. We used taxi’s at night for eating out. We upgraded to all inclusive for the drinks but the evening food not to our liking, ok but not great. We had a room outside the ‘upgraded area’ but couldn’t use it and had to walk/lift down many stairs to the ‘commoners’ pool Recommendations Hire car as very steep incline, and nice to tour the island. Go all inclusive for drinks but not food. Staff very friendly Don’t think I would stay again based on location because when u get down into the main area there are some lovely hotels closer to the main centre. Otherwise hotel is clean, well run and nice rooms.

Beautiful hotel, but lacked something for me. Bit dull. I can’t quite put my finger on it despite this being a lovely hotel, but it lacked something for me. Let’s start with the room…corner room so noisy outside with people walking by and staff getting on with jobs, but not the end of the world. Electrics went in our room but that was quickly fixed for us by a nice friendly staff member . No welcome drink on arrival because the staff member forgot about us ! Personally I don’t like buffets, but I will say that this place really does try hard to cater for everyone and the choices were great, but once I saw flies on the food it really put me off. The food and drinks choice at the pool bar was ridiculous! Who wants a sandwich??!! Cocktails were rubbish too-not enough choice and the pool was bloody freezing! It’s a great hotel, but lacks atmosphere and once the staff asked for good reviews then this puts me personally off because I just think that they’re being nice for the reviews so feels fake. The evening entertainment was nice, but they need to set it up slightly better so that you could maybe dance nicely? Bit more interactive entertainment would be good too. All in all it’s a great hotel but would I return? No.

Personally wouldn’t visit again. I was disappointed with the food, not much choice. And very tasteless. The drinks were nice. Hotel is lovely in itself but not worth the money we paid. Can’t get a sunbed after 9am Not once did we get our beds changed, the room was big and spacious but they were not very attentive to changing bins etc. The entertainment is rubbish however very loud so if you want to go to sleep before 11pm, good luck. Pool was dirty at the bottom

I'm struggling with this review and have only rated it average because it didn't feel 5* and it wasn't what I expected for the price. We had a levels sea view suite. The room was lovely & kept very clean. The view was beautiful. The hotel is covered with flowers and greenery and very pretty. The grounds are well maintained. But, the levels pool lacked atmosphere & the luxury you would expect for the extra money. Sunbeds are uncomfortable, no waiter service, in fact nothing special about it at all. I preferred the main pool (better sunbeds, more atmosphere) Levels lounge was nice, but I didn't use it much, very quiet and out of the way, a floor below the levels pool, not ideal. Main restaurant was very nice. Cold food choices fabulous, salads fresh, lots of variety. Hot food choices on the whole good, but as other reviews have said, mainly cold unless you queue for pasta or catch a fresh batch just out of the kitchen. Evening entertainment was a good standard but bar very slow serving drinks. Layout a bit odd, from the bar you couldn't see the band. There's a huge TV showing football though. Not my thing but it would suit some guests. The staff are good. Laura in the restaurant makes a lot of effort with guests. There was just something missing at this hotel for me. Atmosphere? Luxury? I enjoyed my holiday, but I don't think I would return to this hotel.
