“A Reminder of why Le Duc remains my number 1!”

Mesita, Bidhya, Tania, and Clara!!! You might wonder why those names! Tina, was always my preferred masseuse at visiting Spa Elodia, but she was not there then, so, I really was not sure what to expect from Bidhya, who informed me that she had joined Le Duc 8 months prior. I explained to her the stress, and extreme muscle tightness that I had been experiencing; this lady kneaded, stroked, and used so many other techniques that rejuvenated me in a way that made me glow, and walked out of the spa on air! I always recommend Spa Elodia to family, and friends visiting Praslin; now I highly recommend the friendly, yet professional Bidhya! Now to the matters of the stomach! ;) At the buffet menu, I was introduced for the first time, something called Baked Yogurt... I was reluctant, but me being me, I tried just a tiny little bit of it - IT WAS HEAVENLY - I had to go back for more, and even asked if they would have it for breakfast the next day. Unfortunately, I was explained that it was only part of the dinner menu. Oh well! After sitting down for breakfast the following morning, Tania approached me with a "Surprise! Surprise!" Oh how my face lit up at seeing how she had set aside some of that yogurt from the dinner for me! A minimal gesture that might seem, but the impact was great! Thank you Tania!! Mesita! Mesita has been my number one front office staff from the get-go! Always pleasant, with a never-wavering consistency of quality service, no matter how many times she has welcomed me, and my family at Le Duc. On our last day, my brother woke up with his usual back pain, except it was quite unbearable. Spa Elodia was fully booked, Mesita, called several places to find availability for him - it was Sunday, as such, not an easy task. But after several attempts she did secure one, unfortunately, my brother found it physically unbearable to travel to that location, although it was not far. Mesita called Clara, and after I explained the situation to her, Clara was able to squeeze in a few minutes in a fully booked scheduled, and low manpower to accommodate my brother, so that he did not have to painfully go outside the hotel for a back relief. Your empathy is highly appreciated! Attention to details, and going the extra mile towards excellent customer experience! Thank you for reminding me yet again, why Le Duc remains my number 1! Until our next stay, keep striving! :)

We spent eight nights az Le Duc de Praslin. From the booking till checkout we had a great, friendly service with swift organization. I would like to thank Helga for taking care of us, she made all reservations seamless and with ease. The hotel feels like home. The size of the common spaces, the rooms, the well kept garden, the cleanliness makes you feel very comfortable. The cuisine was just like home-made by a wise grandma knowing all culinary secrets :-) Everyone was friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. I have to express our thanks to Gabrielle for the service in the restaurant. We were staying one of the villas on the hillside. It was quite an adventure to drive on the narrow roads, but after a couple of rides, it came with ease. The villa was excellent and much more than we expected. The bedrooms, living room, kitchen, terraces, swimming pool in the green with a spectacular view to the sea looked like a hidden retreat in the forest. Many thanks to Suganthan, who kept our place in tip-top shape! The hotel has a beautiful, well kept beach, restaurant, bar, spa and gym. We had a great time with hiking, traveling around, snorkeling, and just relaxing on the beach or by one of the pools. Thank you for the hospitality, we highly recommend Le Duc de Praslin to all travelers!

We stayed in vila 270. View from the pool was perfect overlooking the whole bay. Vila manager Mrs. Hilda was so helpful and so friendly that we felt like we were home. She always had a smile for us and took care of every wish we had. Our vila caretaker Mr. Suganthan kept everything in order and was really helpful, especially when showing us how to cut and eat local fruits. Their good nature and joyful mood made us feel very welcome. We took back home only happy memories and left a piece of our hearts there.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful experience at Le Duc: a beautiful, modern hotel set in an idyllic location on Praslin, Seychelles. We were placed in a superior room which was huge, extremely well-appointed and with the bonus of a lovely balcony. The gym was very well-equipped and both pools on site were extremely well-designed and very relaxing. The setting is breathtaking: on an incredible stretch of white sand with clear blue ocean. I must mention the exceptional service that we received from Saman at dinner, where nothing was too much trouble. He helped to make it an excellent dining experience. Thank you to the team and to the owner Mr Payet, who was very welcoming and helpful. We very much look forward to visiting again in the future!
