“Fantastic hotel”

Wow what a great hotel. So clean, quite, safe, and the room we stayed in was huge. Our room was just above reception. We had a large kitchen, dining and living room space. Out bedroom was just as big with good size wardrobes, drawers and beds. The bathroom had two sinks, bath, hairdryer, shower and toilet. We had a sofa bed in the dining room which our son used. Behind the sofa was double windows over looking the sea. Our room was cleaned each day, we could get new towels if we placed the old ones in the bath. The kitchen had a new kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and an induction cooker. All clean and easy to use. We had a double fridge freezer which was brilliant, the induction job worked so fast it was so quick to cook things. We had use of an oven, grill and a microwave cooker. Staff on arrival was so lovely and helpful. Always said hello each day. Very helpful when needed. Pool cleaned, quite and guards on daily. Loads of sun beds. We went to both pools and had no issues at all. My only grib is people putting their towels on the beds and clearing off for the day. There is rules to say they can’t do this. So just move their towels. The hotel is handy for everything, shops, bars, restaurants and the port. We’ve been to lots of hotels over the years all various kinds. But it was hilarious how clean and quite this hotel was. Our room was so big and clean it was great. Did not have any concerns at all. I made various meals in the room without any issues. Omelettes, lasagna, pizza, salads and fresh sandwiches. The freezer worked well and chilled drinks ready for the outings the next day. I’d definitely recommend this hotel it was a great stay.

“Location and peaceful”

The location of the hotel is fantastic right in the middle of the old town and new also there is a gate at the rear of the hotel giving excess to the shopping centre and also bus stops, the apartment is nice and spacious and clean also great balcony plus a lovely view of the sea. 2 great pools wi... more

“We would stay here again.”

The hotel is in a great location in between the old town and the start of the new town ‘main strip’. The hotel is up a steady hill and built into the hill so there a quite a few steps. The hotel is in a great location in between the old town and the start of the new town ‘main strip’. The hotel is up a steady hill and built into the hill so there a quite a few steps. The layout of the complex is good and you dont feel overlooked by other apartments. The hotel was overall quiet only hearing the odd car/traffic noise at the back of the complex. Inside the apartments you can occasionally hear the people in neighbouring apartments but this is to be expected with tiled floors etc. The rooms are fine although they are run down. The designs/ layout of the rooms look nice but on closer inspection there were lots of chips in the floor tiles/wall tiles. Sockets on the walls were wonky and tv hung slightly wonky also. There were 4 of us in a 1 bedroom apartment. The sofa was used as a bed and another put up bed also put in the livingroom. These were very uncomfortable and the pillows had no support to them. The main beds in the bedroom were ok. The kitchen area was ok but there were no scissors, a draining board or bowls. There were odd numbers of glasses/plates/cutlery so not enough in there for 4 people to eat properly inside the apartment if you wanted to. If you plan on eating out daily like we did this isn't really an issue. The shower was good and powerful. There were no issues with the housekeeping. The bins were emptied regularly and towels changed regularly. There were no bad smells in the room or out in the complex/pool areas so that was good. The gardens were kept up to daily and the 2 big pools cleaned/maintained daily. The children's small pool could do with cleaning more regularly due to leaves from the nearby trees dropping in regularly in the wind and children generally walking things into this pool. All the staff we came across were friendly and approachable. We had a lovely holiday here. It wasn't overcrowded and we could get sun beds daily without reserving them early. We would stay here again :)
