Nearly two years of painstaking work by stone cutters and carpenters brought to fruition this extraordinary vision from the New York architectural firm of Barnes and Coy.The entrance to the house leads directly into the main living, dining and kitchen area, whose high ceilings and panoramic view give it an airy, loft-like feel. To the west, an entire wall of glass slides out of sight, opening the space to the large terrace, infinity pool, and broad vista over the bays of Lorient and St. Jean, the Atlantic and St. Maarten visible in the distance. A teak deck beneath a large canvas awning offers plentiful seating for relaxing in the shade or dining outdoors.Villa DOLs first three bedrooms, located on the propertys pool level are all roughly equal in size and are exceptionally well-furnished in dark hardwoods and chocolate-hued leather.
