I loved this hotel, what a treat, everything about it, friendly and welcoming staff, comfy king sized bed, powerful shower. The rooftop area with bar, loungers and pool are a delight with great views across the city. Can’t say enough good things really! Even had a bottle of Prosecco delivered to the room on my birthday, which they obviously knew from checking in with my passport. I would definitely recommend. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we preferred to eat at cafes, bars and restaurants around Seville but plenty and food did smell very good. Thank you Hotel Fernando III

“Fantastic hotel”

Stayed as a group of 3 ladies for a long weekend. As soon as we arrived we had a friendly and warm greeting, we were early so our room wasn’t ready but we were able to use the facilities to change and they held our cases securely whilst we went out and explored. Stayed as a group of 3 ladies for a long weekend. As soon as we arrived we had a friendly and warm greeting, we were early so our room wasn’t ready but we were able to use the facilities to change and they held our cases securely whilst we went out and explored. The hotel is situated perfectly for strolling around the cobbled streets and not to far to any of the sights. La Bartola opposite is an absolute must for tapas - such good value and great service, be prepared to wait as it is small and very popular. The hotel has a roof top terrace with pool and bar. The drinks and food were great and very reasonably priced, again staff were super friendly and we liked the variety of seating options (table and chairs, high bar and stools or comfy low chairs. The maid visited our room every day, fresh toiletries wee left, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothbrush kit, shaving kit, tissues and vanity kits along with a bottle of water each, coffee/tea refreshed daily. Beds made, fresh towels. There really isn’t anything we could fault with the hotel and I will definitely be coming back here with my partner.

“Excellent location and superb roof terrace with pool”

A one night stay in Seville.The hotel is in a marvelous location close to all the main sights in a quiet side street.We had a standard room with a very small window/door leading to a central well,not a very pleasant outlook.The room was very clean with a comfortable bed.I would describe the room as functional but completely lacking any character and not somewhere to stay for more than one night.The corridors felt a bit like an institutional building.The staff were very professional and helpful and breakfast choices were plentiful.The main attraction was the rooftop pool which was excellent,however due to its popularity we had to wait for the sun beds.Overall the hotel served a purpose for our one night stay.

My friend and I booked our 3 night stay back in October - we specifically asked for a twin room (two separate beds) - i followed this request with an email a couple of months before our arrival date - highlighting we were friends as opposed to lovers and therefore did not want to share a bed and would appreciate some personal space. We were clearly disappointed upon arrival that we had to share a bed as no twin rooms were available. The young lady who was checking us in didn’t appear to have much sympathy despite us explaining we had made an early request and had followed it up - it was clear on our booking “twin room” ! I tried to find her empathetic side, but it didn’t really materialise and not even an apology! She said there were only 10 rooms in the hotel with twin beds and they were already taken, which meant the only options were a) to place single duvets on the bed or b) have a Z-bed brought to the room. At this point a gentleman stepped in who appeared to be her superior and firstly apologised to us and after a chat with her in Spanish, she said that she could move us to a twin room the next day and as we had no option for the first night due to lack of availability, we opted for the Z-bed for the first night and agreed to move the next day, which clearly wasn’t ideal, when only staying for 3 nights and given the lengths I’d gone to prior to arrival to avoid this problem! The large beds appear to be super king - it would be a sensible idea to swap these for zip beds which can be detached and made into twin beds as I’ve noticed there have been a number of comments/complaints about this issue on other websites from other guests!? Despite this unfortunate disappointing start, we had a good stay after having moved rooms. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. We had a Juliet balcony and could leave the door open at night to enjoy the cool evening breeze and were not disturbed by any external noise. The twin beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Great shower with generous toiletries (no conditioner though!) along with robes and slippers. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room with a fridge and safe. The Reception staff clearly wanted to make up for the room issue so we were provided with additional treats which were very well received. The hotel is in a perfect location - easy walking distance to all the sights, restaurants and bars. The pool area was very busy but sadly the universal towel on the sun lounger was evident here which was disappointing! Apart from the frosty start from one individual on Reception - all the staff were very friendly and accommodating especially those at breakfast. On breakfast, the choice and quality was very good indeed. Overall we had a very nice stay and would return if they could adhere to the room request - would also recommend.
