I really can’t fault this hotel, our room on the 9th floor was lovely, just like a mini split level apartment. We were on the half board option and can honestly say it was excellent, added to this as we arrived late on our first day they allowed us to have brunch on the last day :) We had a lovely early evening relaxing spa session which was good value for money. Lastly each and every member of staff were amazing those in the restaurant in particular.

“Good hotel, close to the stations”

The hotel is close to the bus station (5 mins walk) and railway station (10-15 mins), but is further from the city centre and Riazor beach. Our room faced the street but it was not noisy inside. The room was good, with a fridge that contained free bottled water. We didn´t eat there. The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful.

“Hotel Plaza Coruña”

I found it to be a very good hotel. Good , restful bed, quiet, good pressure in the shower, good breakfast, and a very good location right in the city center where you are in walking distance of relevant places like the train and bus stations.

3.5 Unfriendly staff. I was travelling with two old aged persons with diabetes. They need always to carry with then their insuline in their personal refrigerated pouches. The staff kept telling them that no food should be stolen from the breakfast table and kept controlling their mouvements and their pouches . We had those remarks every day several times at breakfast. In the evening we ordered a hot tea 30 minutes before the closing of the bar and we have been warned that we must clear the table in the following 20 minutes because they were closing. Finally we need to have a word with the staff since we were overwhelmed by their attitude, they explanation we have had is that they have had bad experiences with is "people from abroad" that have stolen food at breakfast and brought their own food. My parents are two old aged persons from South America willing to visit the region of the family roots! Very awkward for all of us particularly for them!
