Burası harika bir yer ve çok iyi fiyatlı. Personel mükemmel ve çok güzel. Yataklar çok rahat ve temiz banyo. Ben bu yeri %100 tavsiye ederim. El Lugar es Hermoso, muy buen postayla. Se lo recomiendo parejas y/o familias. La gente que atiende es súper dulce.

“Nice small hotel 1 km southwest from the main plaza.”

My wife and I stayed 3 nights; one night with a reasonable Hotels.com pre pay, and two nights with a more expensive Booking.com confirmed reservation. After visiting Purmamarca, we drove our rental car 25 km north following Google maps to the front door arriving at 1:45PM. We pushed the 2 front buzzers off and on for 15 minutes until the door was finally opened by the Spanish speaking housekeeper. After 15 minutes of a convoluted disorganized reception for our confirmed and paid for reservation, she was confident enough to show us a choice of 2 of their 8 courtyard rooms. We chose #6, a small tiled room largely taken up with a comfortable king size bed with 2 nightstands (one had lamp but no electrical outlet), shelved closet, small wall TV(HBO, CNN, Bloomberg and BBC-all in English) and small fully outfitted bathroom with large walk in shower. The 8 AM breakfast consisted of fresh OJ, 4 pieces of toast, butter, jam and spreadable cheese, a mix of dry crackers and a mix of biscuits, a medium sized pot of coffee with a small pitcher of hot milk. We enjoyed the decent secure wifi, satellite TV, quiet nights sleep in a traditional adobe hotel (pole rafters and cane ceilings). Conversely, we did not like the tight bathroom door, no front door key, and the meager breakfast(last two mornings we asked for a 2nd cheese spread and a 2nd pot of coffee). This is a well built hotel (4*) with a nicely decorated breakfast/lounge with big screen TV(where we had our evening snack using their kitchen hot pot) but it is not a welcoming hotel with a full time desk, just a lonely caretaker. We had an issue with our two night Booking.com reservation. The hotel insisted on adding the 22% VAT even though we are foreign passport holders using a VISA card(exemption permitted by the Argentine Government). This issue went back and forth for 30 minutes with the part time receptionist emailing the owner, Google translations for us, and finally resolved the last evening in our favor. We chose this hotel because of adequate car parking and its location midway between the Pucara Ruins and the town plaza, and for 3 nights to give us a choice of 'good weather' days to drive to Mt Hornocal(14 Colores).
