I love this hotel staff is very friendly Beds are comfortable Food in the restaurant is good plenty of choices for everyone and the same for breakfast Plenty of sunbeds around the pool You are about a 45-minute walk into Cambrils or the bus stop right outside the door . You can get a local bus outside the airport that would drop you outside the hotel and it costs about 3 euros Taxis are expensive so expect to pay 40 euros to the hotel

“Close to the lovely beachfront”

Perfectly good hotel less than a couple of hundred metres from the beachfront. Right into Cambrils and left into Salou, although both are a good walk away. Nice, flat, walks by the sea. Perfectly good hotel less than a couple of hundred metres from the beachfront. Right into Cambrils and left into Salou, although both are a good walk away. Nice, flat, walks by the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially waiters and reception. Monica was really good helping us with a problem. Spotlessly clean with well kept public areas, including the pool area, some of which was astroturfed so great for the kids. Rooms basic but comfortable. Food plentiful and varied. They do amazing cakes, pastries and breads. I became addicted to the little sugar covered filled croissants that were more like donuts. The hotel appears to be a bit of a haven for cyclists but this will be fine if you can cope with the sight of lots of middle aged men in Lycra first thing in the morning. I must admit if did put me off my continental breakfast sausage at first. The only two minor things would be i) the squealing/squeaking toasters whining all the way through breakfast (they either need chucking out or a bit of oil) and ii) the mini disco could be more about the kids dancing to multinational songs rather than being entertained by a man dressed in a daisy suit that needs a good wash (the suit, not the man).

A lot of positives but rooms paper thin. Currently experiencing a party in 316. Last week we reported room much noise from the same room. But tonight was definitely a part and sounds like young children are involved. We are up at 530am for our tavmci to the airport..

“Good for the price”

We stayed for a week and upon arrival despite having knowledge that a baby was stopping in the room there was no cot in the room. This was at half past 4, we had to ask three times until a cot was delivered at half past 8, not an ideal start when you have been travelling all day. Same with timin... more

We stayed for a week and upon arrival despite having knowledge that a baby was stopping in the room there was no cot in the room. This was at half past 4, we had to ask three times until a cot was delivered at half past 8, not an ideal start when you have been travelling all day. Same with timings of breakfast and dinner, 7 seems a little late in the evening to be eating with small children, as does 8 to be eating at breakfast and by this point there is a queue of cyclists demolishing the breakfast buffet. Whilst we were there, there were 3 or 4 very large groups of cyclists who pretty much dominate the bar and meal time (no chance of you getting a banana, a fried egg or a baguette with them around). Not much for kids to eat either just fish or salads so if you have kids this is probably not the place for you. Even I struggled some nights as there was little variety. Most times we had to warm our food in the microwaves positioned on the end of the buffet bar as it was cold, not sure if this is what they are for. Positives are the staff are really friendly and are always willing to help and the decor in the lobby and pool area and bar was comfortable and clean. Drinks are cheap. Doors of the rooms are noisy as there is no sound proofing on the doors but luckily most nights once the entertainment was finished they stayed in their rooms. Good hotel for the price but I probably would pay more next time and go elsewhere especially with children
