Our visit to Seville for a wedding was made even more special thanks to this gem of a hotel! We were treated like royalty from start to finish - all the staff were lovely and made you feel so welcome. We were welcomed to the room with some lovely fresh fruit, and the room was always cleaned spectacularly. Wonderful breakfasts, would especially recommend the avocado toast and watermelon juice which was a new discovery for me, and Red Level lounge access definitely worth it for the quality of drinks and snacks. As one of the most exclusive and beautiful hotels in Seville, I had always dreamed of staying here, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I will be back!!!

“Didn’t quite hit the mark”

We had high hopes staying here having read all the great reviews. There were lots of positives but our room was not great. The hotel is in a good location for exploring Seville. Very central and easy to walk to all the fabulous sites. The breakfasts too were great. Lovely, friendly and attentive staff who worked so hard to look after everyone. A nice choice of things to eat and cooked breakfast if you wanted it. We had booked a supreme patio view room. On arrival we were offered an upgrade ( at a cost of a further €1000 which we declined. ) The receptionist told us our room was on the ‘inner courtyard’. The room was pretty dark, no view at all it just looked across a central well into other rooms with very little natural light so felt dingy. There was also a pretty unpleasant stain on the carpet. We later discovered one of our sinks was blocked and quickly filled up with water, the bathroom door liked to open itself after closing and the loo roll holder was loose on the wall. We had a huge bath in the room, the taps could not be reached without actually getting in or shimmying round the edge, as they were too far over. The plug had to be put in manually and removed by getting your fingernails under the rim. Just badly designed and a little unsafe. The following morning we went to reception and mentioned the dirty carpet/blocked sink/sliding door/loo roll holder. We were told someone would come straight away - we waited half an hour but no one came. We went out, leaving a list at reception. When we returned later in the day the sink had been fixed but nothing else. No message. The room just seemed tired and in need of renovation, wardrobe doors were marked and the sofa torn on the underside. This is not a criticism of housekeeping, the room was cleaned and turned down to a very high standard, the sanitary wear was always spotless. The carpet stain needed a professional clean but wasn’t attended to in our stay. Maybe the red level guests would have been treated differently? Just a bit disappointed.

“Magnificent Hotel”

We felt we had visited one of the best hotels in Europe. Our room was perfect for us. The size was room, and the cleaning staff did an outstanding job. The staff at breakfast were very kind and the food was good. The concierge on Saturday and Sunday were very nice and helpful young men. The location is perfect for walking to the wonderful sites. Our only concern was why a taxi charged 10.00 to go to the train station but the hotel charged 25.00 for the same trip. This didn't make any sense to us.
