“The best, as always ”

This marked our 8th stay at this hotel since 2021. We absolutely love it here. This hotel has a charm I haven't found anywhere else, and we travel a lot. We ended our stay at the Villas and WOW. The villas and services is top notch. Special thanks to Estefania and Nicolo from the Villas they were the best. Javier at the beach club always makes sure we have the best anniversary lunch. But just to be clear, ALL of the bahia staff is great. Housekeeping at Bahia is better then any hotel we have stayed at. We can't wait to come back, for sure we will come next May to celebrate our next anniversary, but we will probably visit at the end of September too, we just can't wait until May next year. If you stay at the hotel itself or the villas, you will definitely enjoy either way. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else while visiting Tenerife. All the restaurants are good. We never go off property to dine. We have all our meals at the hotel and have done so since we visited the first time. Never disappointed!

Let down by a few things The hotel is a great location, grounds are stunning, rooms dated but large, housekeeping is great. The food is awful. Only the Italian restaurant is edible, the burger bar particularly poor and whilst the breakfast has a huge amount of options nothing is really fresh or tasty. The kids club is being refurbished so they have made a windowless room into a temp space-a bit sad for the kids. The “playground” is a see saw and some old swings. So for a family holiday the kids provision is quite poor. However the kids pool is great. Service is mixed and is a bit “computer says no” eg can’t have dinner without a reservation even if there’s only one table with people on it. So a mixed bag. They really need to improve the food for me to consider returning.

Large, spacious and comfortable hotel, arrival was excellent, very personable and efficient. Reception staff were very helpful throughout our stay, very good! Rooms are dated but large, very well appointed and ours was spotlessly clean. Service is generally good, and at times excellent (our housekeeper was fantastic) Bar staff were surly at times, mainly in the evenings, though some were more pleasant. Facilities are overall very good, however F&B is disappointing mainly in terms of daytime availability and quality, the bar food by the kids pool is very poor, and whilst the beach club food is of a much higher quality the staff were disorganised and forgetful even when quiet, with one supervisor/head waiter quite unpleasant to the other staff. The F&B offering in general in the hotel just seemed difficult overall and not well thought out despite the large number of outlets. Service at the cafe bar next to the ice cream shop was appalling, the waitress did not want to be there, she did basically nothing whilst the lady behind the ice cream side worked incredibly hard with large queues. The hotel layout is really not intuitive, it’s difficult and complex to navigate. That being said, overall the hotel is of a very high quality and 90% of the staff are great. It’s definitely a good choice in a great location in Tenerife!

We have stayed at Casa Ducales for a week and I have to say we have had such a lovely holiday! The service is impeccable and Casa Ducales feels like a luxury experience and you are so well looked after! My only complaint about this hotel is you are not permitted to have large inflatables in any of the hotel pools which was so upsetting for my 8 year old boy and seemed frankly OTT when some of the pools were empty at several times during the day. For us this would make us question returning but I would want anyone else reading this review to understand that the overall experience was amazing and this is just one disappointing aspect that seemed unnecessary and actually very important to our family as our son especially brought with him his inflatable pool crocodile which he could not use. If that however is not important for you, you will have a fantastic holiday.
