2 nlocks from Termini train station and very easy to find. We had 2 rooms which were requested together and that's exactly what we had. Even the triple room was spacious for 3 adults. They changed towels and sheets daily, without us asking. Topped up shower gels and shampoos. They mistakenly gave us a bill at check out for the minibar which we hadn't used and immediately corrected it. Everywhere was super clean. Continental breakfast had plenty of food at various times. They were happy for us to fill our drinking bottles for the day. Reception staff were very helpful and chatty. No road noise with the windows closed, although the air-con wasn't effective, so we left them open. But it is noisy outside on some sides of the building. Showers were hot with plenty of pressure. Very close to the Colosseum, less than 10min walk. Plenty if restaurants and cafés in the area. Definitely would go there again.

We have just returned from here yesterday after first visiting this hotel back in Feb 2015. It has been updated and modernised since our last visit. We booked the family room as travelled with a family of 5 (young children). This meant we had two rooms next to each other with one main entrance (although we weren’t given the mechanical key - which we were only informed about on checkout!) This just meant we used a door stop to hold this door open during the day. Off this small entrance are the two main doors to each room - the main one which had a king bed & sofa bed, then a twin room, and 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space (too much really, we could have all fit in one easily!). My only concern is we didn’t feel safe leaving the children in one room on their own as the windows are external shutters, window then internal shutters - all of which open fully). This would be much better if they could limit how far the windows opened like in the breakfast room (they use gold chains to stop them blowing fully open). It did mean we could put the kids to sleep in one room and have drinks/nibbles in ours and then sort sleeping accommodation when we went to bed. Depending on ages of your children - you may feel differently. WiFi - although free - is pretty useless. We ended up using 4G the whole time. Breakfast - continental style breakfast - plenty of choice; yoghurts, fruit, cake, cheese, salami, cereal, pancake machine, sausages (more hotdog style), bacon and eggs. Yea, coffee, juices etc. Location - excellent which was our main reason to return to this hotel. 3 minute walk from Rome Termini train station. We walked everywhere from here except to Vatican which we opted to get on the metro for at Republica. Only other reason for 4* rating is that is is not baby friendly. They have 2 high chairs in the breakfast room, but no baby changing facilities in downstairs reception area of level 1 breakfast area. Would recommend overall.

“Not worth the money!!”

The room was spacious. However, the temperature controller did not work. Requested at the reception but they did nothing. We could not sleep well during our 3 nights stay. The temperature was centrally controlled and it was 24°C. The room is getting warmed up quickly and we started sweating. If you switch off the air conditioner, no air circulation and becomes stuffy. We stayed in the 5th floor and if we open the windows you will get cool air flow, but it will be noisy from the traffic. In the shower, no soap holder is another pathetic condition. It is very strange and not worth the money you pay i.e. approx. €180 per night inclusive of all taxes.
