“Very good for the price and the position”

Very good for the price. Rooms are relatively big, clean. Bathroom is ok. It's not far from the center, very easy to get there and park. Can't have a better price, if you are in 1 or 2 persons. BReakfast included. Wi-fy works and is good.

Ethic Etapes staff are friendly, helpful and multilingual. I was travelling with my 7 yr old child and my 82 yr old father. They were both comfortable. There is a lift for people who may struggle with stairs. The rooms were clean, basic and warm. Breakfast was included. Can also buy dinner at the restaurant. Great for a stayover, en route to the Alps for skiing. Will definitely return.

This was not really what we expected. It is in fact a huge complex dedicated to housing lots of people very economically. It's the sort of place used by large groups doing something, such as sport training, or 'bonding' events. It is a 'smart' building, so lights go on automatically. Including the bathroom light! All night! We ended up taping a paper towel over the sensor so the light didn't go on when we needed the loo in the middle of the night! The room was spacious, immaculate, and the bed (double) comfortable. Bathroom spotless - great shower. Area very peaceful, no problem about sleeping. Breakfast PATHETIC - costing E5. Just ordinary bread, no croissants, yoghurts, ghastly sweet sugary cereal, orange juice and tea/coffee. Also it is on the outskirts of Besancon so you have to go into the centre to eat. But easy to get to from the autoroute and lots of free parking. So then, good cheap accommodation, a good night's sleep, but sad breakfast. If you're on a budget this is the place for you. We paid well under E60 for the night+breakfast for the 2 of us.
