This was your second stay at this amazing hotel all of the staff are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic! We Can't wait to come back here after the refurbishment. “Good value 4 star”

Just back from a week in this hotel . Previously we had stayed in the Bahia Del Duque but I decided to change to this hotel at the last minute purely because of the price . It’s billed as a 5 star and was almost half the price of the Bahia . Of course you get what you pay for and this hotel is not a 5 star . But it get lots of things right and is very good value for money . Negatives : Rooms are dated and balconies offer little privacy . Teas and coffees aren’t replenished . No mini bar . Bathroom very dark and dingy , sliding door kept getting jammed . I love hotel bathrooms but I really hated going into this one ! The lobby area is large and modern but lacks atmosphere . I think it’s because of all the tables and chairs jammed together , it gives the bar area a canteen feel . Positives : Unbelievably friendly and helpful staff . Right across the board . Breakfast good even if the restaurant area while gleaming and white and impressive still has the feeling of a canteen . It’s the tables and chairs again I think ! You have to queue with your tray but it’s fine , fruit is amazing as is usual in these places . Coffee is awful . Pool area is perfectly pleasant , lots of loungers , peaceful . Great system for towels . Nice bar there and good food on offer . There was a sax player there a couple of days and he was great ! There’s a small pool up on the top floor for adults but I preferred the main pool , it was more spacious snd the views were better . I used the pool bathroom facilities and every time they were spotless . Indeed the whole hotel is immaculately kept . We tried the a la carte restaurant looking onto the pool the service was good , the food was good , but we were the only ones there . I liked this hotel and will be very interested to visit after the refurb . I missed the Bahia , I think just the exclusivity of it . There’s a different vibe in the Adeje but it’s very good value for money and is lovely in many ways .

On arrival lovely traditional hotel, massive reception/foyer area, this is where the evening entertainment is held. Welcome drink voucher issued, pint, sangria, wine, soft drink at any bar. Hotel due for refurb January 2025 hope they don’t loose the character and go very modern. Room: large & large bathroom, shower great very powerful. Toiletries provided. Poor towels thin and worn. Tea and coffees not available was told by bell boy on entering room 15.30 that these would arrive in 15 minutes, 5.30 nothing, called reception to be told they get stocked at 6pm, I told them this not a restock but new arrival, as you have to ask at reception for tea/coffee to be replenished. Safe not unlocked called reception again. These things should already be checked for arrival. Bed hard requested mattress topper next day. For some reason the lovely embossed patterned bedspread was replaced with a tatty thread bare bedspread. AC non existent when on, broken dial that is located side of bed. Fridge wasn’t even a chiller did not keep anything cool. Not enough clothes hangers. No draws. Mirrors everywhere. No plug at vanity to sit and style hair. You need an extension lead unless you use power socket in bathroom. Balcony partitions no privacy. Pool: lovely plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Can change pool towels every day if wanted. Pools cold. Cannot reserve sunbeds before 10am, great. Book early for massages. Pool restaurant: great. Had a fab Caesar and house salad 9€, pint 5€, litre sangria 18.50€. Restaurant: men must wear long trousers. food very poor. Odd nights meats in sauces. Chicken and fish every day occasionally meat. Never been to a 4* or 5* hotel that does not have salt and pepper on tables. Very frustrating having to remember to collect sachets from only 1 area. Would have liked some granola and some salmon/cream cheese in the morning. Fresh fruit either bitter or tasteless. Fab fresh orange. For a 5* I would have liked to see water given free with evening meal. I’ll return only to see how they refurb. If I returned before I would go B&B. Hotel next to Dukes shops with restaurants and Dino supermarket. Market Thursday & Saturday opposite. 20 mins walk to Fanabe beach.
