Excellent hotel in a nice location in Lugano. We chose a Superior Deluxe room on the 3rd floor and it was very nice with lake views and comfortable bed. “Would not recommend ”
I am sure this hotel was once lovely, however its position is now blighted by the train station which is literally by its front door, the noise is very intrusive and the whole hotel felt it was past it's prime. “Disliked the room, appreciated the restaurant”
The annex deserves between 1 and 2 stars maximum. We enjoyed the park restaurant. The breakfast is nice. The room in the annex was very small, the bathroom unfriendly. No soap was provided. Nothing much to write home about. It is close to the railway station.
