Amazing week here. The weather was spot on if it was cloudy it was only for a minute or so. It was windy but that's Fuerteventura it's known for it. The hotel room was spot on, bathroom big and the shower was better than I had at home, sadly I couldn't take it with me 😂 the cleaners were in there every day and provided bottled water each day. We had a fridge so we got some milk for cups of tea and some lemon Fanta (holiday tradition) If you are an adult you are either silver or black band. Black band you get premium named drinks and some additional add ons, silver you don't have named brands but alot still to choose from for drinks and access to adult area if you paid for that. Food - I saw before I left some bad reviews and I couldn't fault it. We are foodies and try alot of different things. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit, veg, bread, cereal, jams for toast. Lunch at main restaurant was better with salads, fruit, fish, meat, pizza, the snack bar had a smaller version of this which was burgers, pizza etc so depends on what you fancy and when you eat. Dinner/tea was again full of options choc fountain was fun with marshmallows and sweets. The ice cream is out of this world. We had two meals with our adult access to the special night's, one was family and one was adult only. We preferred food on the adult one but both nights were great. Even getting up close by the flying seagull on one of the nights who took a wrong turn clearly didn't spoil our night. Drinks - silver wrist band you get mojito, love on the beach and blue lagoon, they are from a machine however, still really good and refreshing. Spirits were good and having pour your own beer, 7up, Pepsi, Pepsi max, fizzy orange, water and soda was great and all cold too. The journey from airport is about 1/1.5 hours to the hotel. There isn't much around other than a supermarket (which was great to visit for whatever you needed) Evening entertainment - I can't really comment on, we tended to go back to our room and chill on balcony or in our lounge area but they looked popular so probs alright. Music was good around the pool area. Some days some live music too. We didn't swim in the big pool it was used a lot for families but looked really nice during the day and at night. We stayed where swim up bar was. Another pool which was adult only with serve your own drinks and then through the spa area is the closed off adult no swim wear pool (if you get what I mean) and then a couple of jacuzzi and saunas. There is a gym, a week of no work outs for us however was rather big with cardio and weights section. We didn't use the beach but looked good and a couple bars down there too (not part of the hotel) you can get pool/beach towels with a voucher, we had our own. On the beach you do need to pay for the beds if you want to have one. Staff were polite and I always like to speak the language where ever I go however they speak very good English anyway. You can pay for late check out if you have a late flight home however there are free showers in spa so if it's just a shower you might need it will save you some pennies. There are taxis outside hotel and a bus to other places if you wanted to visit places apparently not too bad for cost either, along with usual trips for everyone through tour operators. If you do want a hotel with bars, restaurants, clubs on your doorstep or walking distance it might not be the hotel for you. The amount of people who said to us, "there's not much around here to do" - did you not check location or research before you booked???!!! WiFi is available in reception area and games area or you can pay for WiFi in room or use your mobile data. We planned for no WiFi unless in reception area, it was great having no Internet access good for the soul. I would love to return to this hotel and was really sad to leave. One of the best all inclusive I've been too.
