“Third time stay”

This is the third time of visiting this hotel - room 507 on this occasion. All staff very friendly and professional. We stayed on a bed breakfast basis. This is the third time of visiting this hotel - room 507 on this occasion. All staff very friendly and professional. We stayed on a bed breakfast basis. Good selection and as usual breakfast staff excellent and can’t do enough for you. Fantastic sea view from this room. Really liked this one bedroom apartment with separate kitchen/living area. Will return.

“3rd stay - unlucky for us.”

This was our 3rd visit to the Princesa Playa but it will be our last. The hotel is in a great location right on the sea front but also near the old town. However one side is very noisy as it sides on to a very very busy main road - dual carriage way and the traffic never seemed to stop! The last ... more

This was our 3rd visit to the Princesa Playa but it will be our last. The hotel is in a great location right on the sea front but also near the old town. However one side is very noisy as it sides on to a very very busy main road - dual carriage way and the traffic never seemed to stop! The last two times we stayed we had not realisedreal how lucky we were with our room allocations.... Our first stay we were in a room at the front = no traffic just the sound of the waves and a great view. Second stay we had a room on the left side - which had a sea view albeit at the side but very quiet as no road. 3rd time we were not so lucky. We were given a room on the side (the right as you look at the hotel from the sea front) and this room faced the main road more or less. Yes we still had side view of the sea but the traffice noise was intolerable for us to sit out. Also we had booked a room with a separate bedroom which we thought would give us a bit more space (had been in stuido rooms before)be better - had studios before. It wasn't in my opinion worth the extra money as you had no view from the window at all - all you could see was the block of flats opposite and we had to have the window shut all the the time. The air con was also noisy and not that efficient - it was not really that hot in October. Plus the double bed was in fact two singles simply pushed together. Such a shame but we would not wish to gamble with where we were placed in the hotel again - we did ask to move, but they said they were fully booked, but then again we saw plenty of people arriving and leaving after us.
