Just returned from a fab week at The Marinda Garden. We had upgraded to the second floor apartment with the large balcony and well worth it in my opinion. The bottom apartments only had a small patio which would be fine for some, just not for us. The hotel was lovely though, the staff are so helpful, especially Laura on reception. There was always plenty of choice in the restaurant and we watched a few of the evening shows which were great. We used the waterpark next door a couple of times which was good fun, it’s not the biggest but 4 decent slides plus a couple of smaller ones and a wave pool. The hotel is in a beautiful area with a gorgeous harbour pretty much across the road (you must try Fiesta restaurant if you want a meal, such a fun experience)! We hired a car for the day and rented a boat so got to see plenty of the island and beautiful coves! Such a clean pretty island!

“FABULOUS HOLIDAY - WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN!!”

The hotel was AMAZING!! Probably one of the nicest All Inclusive hotels we’ve stayed in! From check in everything was fab! The staff on reception were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were so lovely. We definitely had the best room in the hotel (Room 105!) I don’t think we will get one as nice and more conveniently positioned anywhere else! The pool area was very clean and tidy. Plenty of sun beds and well maintained. Snack bar food was made to order which I find very good (a lovely variety of foods). Drinks were self service (soft drinks and beer). Other drinks, such as hot and cold, cocktails, slushes and ice creams you were served. The restaurant was really nice with the option to dine outside which was lovely. Food was very impressive and the selection was great! I have a very picky son with a dairy and soya intolerance and staff were really helpful with that. All staff work very hard and are very pleasant. The entertainment team are very welcoming. The evening entertainment was ok. There were a couple of outside acts which were very good. The entertainment team try very hard to entertain everyone and were lovely throughout our stay! All in all I was VERY happy with our stay. Everything about our holiday was perfect!! The best room, fabulous food & drinks and lovely staff. Hotel is within a very short walk to beaches and supermarkets. The supermarket on site was great and you could buy pretty much everything there too. Access to the neighbouring water park was a fab bonus which was included with our stay - it is very clean and has something for everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Visited May/June with partner and son aged 14. Apartment was simple but functional and the maids cleaned and changed the towels every day. Shower was good! Pool area was great and we never struggled to get a sun lounger - in fact everyone was quite chilled and even late morning there were still beds available. We found the food a strength of the hotel. For a 3 star it had a good variety and plenty of sea food which we loved. Having the water park next door was fantastic and the marina 5 minutes walk away is beautiful. We visited 3/4 times just to have a wander around. The bus to Ciutadella is just outside and is 20 mins. Again well worth it. I would say the only draw back is the entertainment in the evening. In a week there were 2 professional acts which were good but the rest was the hotel team. They gave it a go but we thought it was really poor. We didn’t go to the kids disco and the place went really quiet by about 10.30. All in all we had a great holiday and would visit again… next time thought we’ll book an apartment on floor 2 with the big terrace and outside bed!!

“Great first family holiday”

Great hotel in a perfect location. We travelled for the first time as a family with our 8 month old daughter and as soon as we arrived the TUI rep was there to help us unload our luggage. The staff were all lovely and helpful and great with our daughter taking the time to stop and say hello to her. We had one of the upstairs rooms with the enclosed balcony and it was great to have the outside bed and artificial grass for her to roll around on. The only problem is you have to carry the pram up the stairs but we left it downstairs during the day and just took it up at night. The restaurant was lovely and the outside seats were great as it was quite noisy in the restaurant. There was always a good selection of food and we never struggled to find something we liked. There was always high chairs available and kids plates, bowls and cutlery. The pool bar area was a great place to sit. The drinks are good theres a self service beer pump and cold drinks. The cocktails are from a machine but the pina colada and love on the beach were good. Also the San Francisco that’s non alcoholic but you can ask for alcohol to be added in. The main bar opens in the evening and if you got the right staff member the cocktails were made fresh and not by the machine. Although there was sometimes a slight queue of an evening it always moved quickly. The pool area is lovely and clean. There’s a small children’s pool then one big pool split into 2. It was very busy whilst we were there but you could still always find a sun bed. The location is great it’s a 5/10 minute walk to the marina with loads of bars and restaurants. And only a few more minutes to a small beach. There’s another beach not much further to and easy to walk to. You can also walk to the lighthouse in 10 minutes and the sunsets are beautiful. Overall it’s a good hotel in a great location - we had a wonderful time for our first family holiday.
