“Een gezellig, no-nonsense verblijf”

We verbleven in het resort voor 6 D FR5 N in februari 2014 . Het is misschien niet ieders kopje koffie worden, zoals het ook onder onderhouden is. Bij de eerste indruk, vond ik het - slechts 9 afgelegen villas, zeer intiem en gezellig. Schilderachtige hutten op een heuvel, ons was 2 verdiepingen, met een vrijstaande buitenterras badkamer en trappen die leidt naar de slaapkamer. Bij gaan echter, waren de lakens een beetje bevlekt, meestal niet erg schoon. Veel schemering insmeert met een insektenwerend middel ( we verbrand Lavendel breedband de 7-11 vlakbij), zal er een verscheidenheid van insecten en griezelig crawlies in de buitendouche, katten binnen uw hut opduiken & 's nachts gegier, iets zelfs op ons dakterras hut viel terwijl we lagen te slapen. Het bad was smerig, maar we vroegen ze schoon het vóór het gebruik. De kamer was basic, maar hadden alles wat we - kluis nodig, koelkast, werken WIFI, mozzie netto. We betaalden 1.375 Baht per nacht ( incl. ontbijt) - die een zeer fatsoenlijke prijs was. Personeel was vriendelijk. Locatie verstandig, het is ongeveer 20 minuten lopen naar Ao Nang Beach, of u kunt een tuk-tuk meenemen als je niet bijzonder actief gevoel hebt ( 40 baht). Aangezien het hotel enigszins aan het einde ligt, bovenste gedeelte van het drukke Ao Nang strekken. We huurden een motor voor een 2 dagen te rijden naar stad Krabi avondmarkt, tiger tempel, emerald zwembad & de warmwaterbronnen. Over het algemeen ben ik echt genoten van het rustieke-Ness & afgelegen hutten en was niet te druk. Stel je net als leven in een jungle hut maar met hotelservice. Zeer gezellig en zeker de moeite waard voor de prijs. Zou er weer eens verblijven!

This is a tiny resort built on a very steep mountainside, so there are a lot of steps. There are only 8 rooms, my family group booked 3. They are all very spacious and slightly different in their quirky Thai design with part of the bathrooms outside. They have enormous stone bathtubs, although it took a long time to fill and the water was only luke warm. This was quite fun until I had to take a shower during a storm and also whilst sitting naked on the toilet realized I could see people on a neighboring hotel rooftop clearly, which was disconcerting. I don’t believe the other rooms would have this issue, so don’t book number 3! The swimming pool is cute, but the sauna has been dead for a long time. I injured my foot on a rotted piece of wood on the walkway around the pool. This place looked like it was beautiful when first built, but could do with a good spring clean. The staff was pleasant enough, sheets and towels were clean and it does have a nice atmosphere. I found out the day we were leaving thet the resort will close for 10 months from April onwards for a refit. It would be worth a revisit once this is completed as a revamp is all it needs to be more comfortable.

i went to this hotel last year, the resort was still in progress of the refurbishing. basically, this is a beautiful resort, but the service is a bit poor. i love that they provide such a private small pool in for every bungalow. though i'm a bit surprise that the toilet in my bungalow had no door. it's quite disturbing if you come here not with your spouse. the place is still in walking distance to the central market in ao nang. also, for moeslems, this place is closed to the mosque so that you can still hear adzan. you can also find halal foods nearby. so, basically, the location is very good for me. I love the ambiance of the resort, so romantic at night. but since thailand is a tropical country, be careful of mosquitoes. never turn off your AC, and also, you need to close your room since the afternoon so that the mosquitoes won't get in.
