“Great base to explore Andalucia”

Stayed here as part of a group tour. I had a room overlooking the pool. Comfy bed and hot shower, bathroom could do with update. Air con wasn't on initially but was switched on 3 days into the holiday. Food was very good both breakfast and evening meal buffet style, but plenty of choice. We had red and white wine served with our meal. Hotel does hold conferences so foyer area can sometimes be busy but overall a good hotel and good base for travel to Seville, Cordoba and Granada. Good 20 mins walk into town but some lovely restaurants and cafes. Take a book, no English TV channels.

“Good base for touring in a lovely unspoilt town”

This is a good hotel with a lovely reception full of plants. The whole place was clean with helpful staff. The buffets had a selection of hot and cold food with a definite Spanish twist. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfy beds. Don't miss the dolmans on the outskirts of the town.

A bit of a mixed bag at this hotel. With all paperwork identifying this hotel at the Hotel Antequera Hills, we naturally anticipated we would find this name on the hotel. A bit of a mixed bag at this hotel. With all paperwork identifying this hotel at the Hotel Antequera Hills, we naturally anticipated we would find this name on the hotel. Satnav similarly could not find 'Hills' and we were left asking locals for directions. No-one seemed to know this as Antequera Hills! Reception was efficient but not very welcoming. And were quick to change our room when the first we were offered smelt strongly of smoke. This clearly is not the hotels fault but that of an inconsiderate previous guest who ignored smoking policies. Our second room was mostly very clean and pleasant, although somewhat tired and basic. Upon checking under the beds however, (to make sure we had left nothing), we were surprised at the level of dirt. It had evidently not been hoovered for a considerable time. And there was a sticky sweet under one of the beds stuck to the carpet. The breakfast rooms were busy but there were insufficient staff to keep breakfast items replenished. This hotel has LONG corridors and insufficient safety signage. Doors to stairwells are not marked although there is lighting identifying these exit points. Much better signage is a MUST. Similarly, in the breakfast overflow room, the doors, (marked as an emergency exit) were locked. We had a pleasant stay in this hotel but there are so many small things that could be improved.
