“Wonderful hotel with spectacular views of Girona.”

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights B/B in sept. The hotel is very contemporary and the rooms are very large for a city hotel, with a fabulous extra large comfy bed. The bathrooms have the most fabulous glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom which has is a mural of Girona ( very impressive). The bathroom also has all the toiletries provided. The breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold food, fruit and fresh pastries. The staff are all extremely helpful and very efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The best part of this hotel is the spectacular views over Girona from the roof top terrace bar, absolutely breath taking. Even if you don't stay in this hotel go for a drink just to experience the view, you won't be disappointed. The roof top bar also has a plunge pool but we didn't use it, too busy exploring Girona. The only negative to this hotel would be if you had mobility issues, the climb back up is quite steep but we did see a bus that passed the hotel. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Good overall”

“Superb views from the terrace”

We booked this hotel as there was plenty of free parking and it was just 10 minute walk from the old town, as we were visiting Girona for the Flower Festival and we had heard parking was difficult. However, it might have been 10 minute to the town but up the very steep hill back to the hotel it took considerably longer unless you are young and fit. That saying the hotel is extremely good and the views across to the hills beyond Girona were breath taking. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable, with the advantage of 2 pillows each! The bathroom had a lovely bath, washbasin and bidet with plenty of good quality towels as you would expect from Marriott. We had dinner in the evening and we chose "a la carte" my companions fillet steak was requested medium rare and it was perfect. I had the lamb shank which was delicious and the accompanying vegetables were fresh and varied. The wines were surprisingly reasonable as the most expensive was 16 euros, we had a 2016 red rioja at 14 euros and it was most palatable.
