The staff, in all areas, were particularly excellent - professional, helpful, and nice (not to mention very patient with my fledgling Italian...) It's definitely a place to return to.

“Spectacular wedding location”

My husband and I were the "token Americans" at a 12-hour wedding that took place here in the beautiful setting of Vallantica Resort & Spa. My husband was seriously impressed with the winery downstairs and the local varietal of red wine. The staff managed the entire wedding for relatives of mine and did a magnificent job. We stayed in one of the rooms for a couple of nights, and it was very nice. The Spa is not far at all from several sweet medieval towns.

We were so happy to find this amazing property while driving from Rome to Ancona! What a beautiful resort! We will absolutely come here again next time we are Rome to get away!! Beautiful landscape, stunning views, and very charming property. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the pool and was very wonderful! Plenty of room and modern accommodations. The restaurant had a very good dinner and we chose the wine pairings from their vineyard. We enjoyed a beautiful night dining outside and we will cherish the special evening accompanied by incredible views!

“Beautiful views but an average stay.”

We booked last minute for two rooms two nights in this little hotel just outside Terni. We did not have the modern rooms but the classic ones. They were clean and adequate for our needs but basic. We booked last minute for two rooms two nights in this little hotel just outside Terni. We did not have the modern rooms but the classic ones. They were clean and adequate for our needs but basic. The larger of the two rooms had a small fridge and small terrace. The terrace had not been swept nor checked by housekeeping as there were old bird droppings on the chairs and a small wasp's nest on the wall. We did not have access to the spa as it was not included in the room charge but was an add on at 40 euro's per person per 4 hour stay. This includes access to the outdoor pool so check before booking if spa access is what attracted you to the place. We thought the cost excessive for what was on offer. There are several terraces to have a drink on from the small onsite bar. It is just a pity that the barman didn't clean the outside tables which were so full of dust you could write your name on them. We ate in the restaurant and whilst the food was good, the service was very poor. Drinks were not topped up, glasses removed and generally uninterested service by both members of staff. A pity as the food is good but they would prevent you from dining there twice. Check in experience was good with friendly engaging staff. Breakfast was the usual Italian array of meat, cheese and sweet cakes and was good. The views from the hotel are beautiful though.
