Location is a little off piste but easily accessible Checked in with no faff, fast and friendly, no hard sell or over share of information Food and drink deals clearly posted throughout the hotel Rooms were clean and well presented. Amazing shower, hot and powerful Great lighting options in the room, we had a lightbox room with different settings. Low noise levels probably due to location Breakfast was a choice of sausages or bacon bap and a drink. Fast service and hot. The concept this hotel is genius!!! Simply done well. Great for a no frills stay. Even though it does have several food and drink options, with a lovely seating area and a pool table. The price you pay gets you much more than you think. Will stay again, highly recommended

“Small but everything we needed”

First of all if Google maps takes you to a barrier of David Lloyd gym you're going the right way as zip is at the back end of the gym so keep going as we almost turned around as there is no signage for zip / premierinn at the barrier . First of all if Google maps takes you to a barrier of David Lloyd gym you're going the right way as zip is at the back end of the gym so keep going as we almost turned around as there is no signage for zip / premierinn at the barrier . When we checked in the reception bloke was friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was bijou but had what we needed , double bed ( 2 singles together ) a tv , and a bathroom, ok the room was small and the bathroom snug but we knew what we were getting and for £33 a night we had no complaints. In the morning if you fancy it ( we didn't) you can get a sausage batch or bacon batch and a drink for under a fiver ( full breakfast isn't available at zip ) Again the receptionist was the same friendly fella( he has a camper van and a dog he goes on his adventures on as we got chatting to him ) fromthe night before when we checked in . We'd definitely recommend zip at the price we paid and probably pay up to £60 for a night here .

“Best value for money budget hotel I’ve stayed in”

Basic room but what incredible value for money. Did the job we needed it to do- would highly recommend. Basic necessities, easy check-in and free parking were highlights. Not the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in but you cannot complain for £26 a night… a steal.

Slightly tricky to find behind the main gym building. Friendly helpful staff. Room ok for the brief stay but obviously no window in my room. Rather expensive for what it is. Decent bar and breakfast area. Bit noisy in the midnight to early hours but probably wouldn’t been an issue if I’d stayed out… Více

Decent bar and breakfast area. Bit noisy in the midnight to early hours but probably wouldn’t been an issue if I’d stayed out later ! Bit out from city centre so taxi in which was a reasonable £14. Would probably use again.
