“Loved our stay at the Bolton. ”

Newly refurbished spacious room with super comfortable beds. Lots of power points and huge tv. We loved everything about the room. Check in staff were friendly and helpful and it’s a very short walk to everything we needed.

It might seem there isn’t too many accommodation choices in Greymouth but don’t under estimate the Copthorne. You might think it looks dated from the outside. But the heart of it is very Greymouth warm. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 2 nights and we were told we were in one of the newly appointed rooms. It didn’t disappoint. Large room, large ammenities, large bed, great riverside views all the way out to the river mouth. We found ourselves at other town bars so missed the hotel bar. But heard others speak highly of the bar and restaurant there Close to the train station and staff let us keep our bags there after checkout to walk around town before the train comes. Everything is very walkable from the Copthorne. Would definitely recommend it on your travels.

“Great value , friendly staff ”

Lovely friendly staff , nice clean well appointed room, with nice view of the river and the sea, had lovely breakfast , great value stay would be happy to come here again , thanks to all the friendly staff who made us feel so welcome

While our room looked recently remodeled, there were a few problems. The window in the bathroom (6th flr) would not close all the way, so the room stayed pretty cold. The water pressure was weak and in the middle of a warm shower, the freezing cold water would blast on --very startling to say the least. Bed was comfortable, room was clean.
