The hotel sits in an Arcade, 4 minutes from the Underground station by foot. The rooms are clean, comfortable and licked clean! The breakfast is pricey and we didn't take it but just outside is a wonderful bakery which sells fabulous filled rolls and really tasty pastries if you want something sweet. They have set breakfasts starting at 4,50 euros ( as against 12,50 in the hotel) This is fine if you want literally to have breakfast plus take a filled roll away with you for later!! The Arcade has a wonderful Italian restaurant, Thai restaurant and a German restaurant. The prices are way cheaper than in the Westside and the quality is first class. They are not too overfilled and not noisy due to being in the arcade. Well worth a visit!

The hotel is conveniently located by an underground station and in a street with several shops. The hotel is in a small mall with a German and Thai and an Italian eatery inside. The underground line is 5stops from Alenderplatz and reception can sell you an all day Berlin travel ticket for 7euro... Helpful if you've ever tried to figure out what type of ticket you need to buy at one of the machines! The staff and helpful, English language isn't an issue. They gave us a suite because they had no doubles left which was really nice of them, all round a really good choice of hotel

I stayed here with my son for 5 nights in July. We had a twin room on the 6th floor facing into the courtyard. Room was a really good size with very comfortable beds. Air con was working fine (I know some reviews have commented about the lack of air con). WiFi worked well once we realised that it’s best to log in downstairs in the lobby, then there was no problem upstairs in our room.....wee tip! Loads of places to eat around the hotel as well as supermarkets. Great location, super easy to get around as there was an underground 5 mins away. Hotel staff polite and happy to help. My only negative would be the lack of a fridge, but that’s not a deal breaker. I would recommend this hotel and definitely would stay again.
