We visited the atlas mountains after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Staff were very attentive and helpful. We were there over Ramadan so we felt like we were the only guests (strange but lovely too). They booked a walking tour for us with a local guide (63yo Ahmid) which was excellent; we went to a Berber village for tea/lunch and the views were stunning. Recommend a good map if you are going for a walk; the lake is worth a look, and for this the hotel prepared a picnic for us. The hotel also made sure I was well catered for as a vegetarian. Thanks for a lovely stay!!!

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a short week in Morocco. At first we were not sure about it, our bungalow seemed a long way from the centre of the camp, it was perishing cold, and we had asked for a twin room but were shown to a double. However eventually we got the heating going, and decided we could survive both the walk and the double bed. I am very glad we did because it was actually a very nice place. The location is beautiful although quite remote; it’s in well tended gardens with an immaculate pool alas too cold for us in December. The staff were quite charming and the food (to our surprise) actually the best we had eaten in the whole of Morocco! No idea how they managed that given that not many folk were staying but we did appreciate it. We had a lovely walk from the hotel to the town of Ouirgane around the lake of the same name. The local people were picking the olives and were all delightfully friendly and fun, trying to persuade us the join in climbing the trees and knocking the olives off the branches with a stick. Casablanca beer is excellent! If you are ready to go with the flow and do not expect the height of sophistication and luxury I would certainly suggest you give the Oliveraie a go.

We stayed in this magical place with my family for 4 nights, everything was perfect, peaceful place, wonderful landscapes, the staff was friendly and available, and food was totally tasty... The only thing was that the room service should be improved, and the wifi must be stronger because not all operators have a good network coverage. I will definetly come back soemday!

Despite wet weather on our first 2 days we very much enjoyed our stay. It was confusing upon arrival as there were signs to reception but no signs of life anywhere, it turns out check in/ out is at the bar. Our room was lovely however the shower wasn’t great and the temperature variable. Also there was no shower curtain so the floor flooded every time the shower was used. There was a safe in the room but it wouldn’t work properly no matter what we did to set it. We didn’t have enough French to explain how it didn’t work so ended up using our suitcases to store our valuables. A mini fridge would’ve been great to keep water etc cool. The food was lovely, it is useful to have some knowledge of French in order to be able to translate the menu. The pool was great as were the loungers. By far the biggest plus point to this hotel is the garden and olive trees. It is beautiful, very calming and smells divine. If you want total relaxation and to do nothing this is the place for you!
