“Nice place”

Very friendly staff, lovely terrace, good wifi, clean but not superclean, the room looked a bit old, but it's charming, perfect location to go to the beach, good breakfast, good parking, very dog friendly. Good value!

“Value for money by the sea”

The Room was clean and confortable. The long, long beach is right across the road and there is a good restaurant incorporated in the hotel with good food and reasonable prices. Moules and Frites 9 Euros. Town centre is 10 mins driving.

Stopped overnight. Rooms are very small and all rooms have a balcony. Ours was on the first floor facing a corner road and was noisy. Bed was ok, room had A/C. Breakfast was normal small French breakfast (croissants, bread, coffee). Room was aged and needed a serious makover. Air conditioning worked fine. Pillows were terrible. Wifi was ok. There are many other choices in Sete and considering the price we paid, I would not return.

The hotel is a typical 2 stars hotel for France with the added bonus of a free parking, mini bar, lovely sea views and quite large bedroom ( nice bathroom !) Unfortunately, the hotel is let down by the cleanliness of its rooms. Our bed sheets had blood stains from previous customers and although they looked clean, it was not very nice. The overall feeling of the hotel is that they could generally improve on this aspect and some of its furniture look very tired and need to be replaced.. Still pick this hotel if you want an hassle free access to the beach ( great lovely beaches) literally 1 minute walk but DO avoid the breakfast as it is a total rip off. 9 € for a tiny cup of orange juice, a cup of coffee and limited range of pastries ( even if they did taste nice). Some bars in the surrounding will do a similar deal for under 6€. Finally, staff is generally very friendly and we felt this hotel has a great potential but I would not stay there more than a couple of nights. On a different note ( nothing to do with the hotel) There is a direct bus link into Sete ( Bus number 9) , ticket only costs .1€ but beware in the evening as buses back from Sete are not frequent at all !! ( There was one bus at 8.30pm and then the next one was at 11pm !)
