The premises are very nice. The problem is high season with dozens of italian families with their kids. Forget about peace at the pool, you will have dozens of kids making noise and their parents not very interested in looking after their behavior. Breakfast is a battle, while getting a capuccino is a saga. No yoghurt, no fruit (pineapples, etc) But the worst is the personnel. They are extremely kind, but not everyone speaks english and on top of it, I had the bad idea of asking for a map of the village, and they mocked at me saying "you do not need a map as it is a small village, 3km to the north and 3km to I do not know where" Every hotel has a map, at least some google maps print. What they gave me is a map where you could distinguish Donnalucata as a small dot. I rejected it and went off fuming. The room was ok and all the hotel is nice (empty) The hotel is located 4km away from town.

We spent two weeks in mid August in this typical Sicilian location. Strengths : Nice place in the middle of a natural reserve . Very good food with plenty of different dishes, fresh grilled fish, vegetables, pasta, steak, typical Sicilian dessert and ice-cream (yum!). The swimming pool was made according with adults and children needs and there is always a Lifeguard. Nice animation, friendly and courteous. Many sports, such as soccer, tennis, beach volley, windsurf, water gym and cards. Nice to learn latin dancing with the animation crew. Clean rooms with air conditioning. Sufficient towels and beach towels. Miniclub within average, even thought the crew was very nice. I found so many friends and my kids too. Drawbacks: The location is almost isolated and located 4 km from Marina of Ragusa. There is no a store in the hotel. The beach is located 700-800 meters far away , so you need to take the shuttle bus from the hotel and viceversa. Please considerer a skin repellent since the place is plenty of mosquitos and bees. The beach is quite dirty and the showers are often broken, but with heat water. There are several excursions in characteristics Sicilian locations but quite expensive, considering that there are no other places around for fun. Beach umbrellas at the first and second rows are not for free. In conclusion: Nice place. Quite expensive in comparison with some higher quality International Veratour locations.

nice place... but to some extent ...full of children and italian families flocking everywhere in pack and block ...first all to breakfast then swimming pool or beach depending by the weather better the wind ....until lunch....having had that everybody but not all to have a nap....until 5 pm to go … Plus

nice place... but to some extent ...full of children and italian families flocking everywhere in pack and block ...first all to breakfast then swimming pool or beach depending by the weather better the wind ....until lunch....having had that everybody but not all to have a nap....until 5 pm to go to swimming pool again until the hour to take shower and flocking again to restaurant for dinner ...and then l can't say because it was so sad and boring l preferred going t sleep...it was a week of long nightmare ...the only thing good was the chef andrea very good and skilled great foods and courses ... and the personal attending on the table ...for the rest better forget .concierge and lobby very polemic and , argumentative...moreover no tv cable so no bbc nor cnn and all other tv just italian tv very depressing ....and not all channels were available ... no comment ...just the cuisine of the chef the rest better forget bcz very boring and even the beach was not so impressive ...a particular tanks to the tour operator who kicked me there ...and the vera tour staff boring and polemic … .by the way tks of noting ..if you are single avoid it you will live a nightmare ….and l would like to denounce my travel agent a real incompetent
