We stayed at Willow Corner Cottage with our dog. The cottage was very cosy, welcoming and relaxing. It had everything we could possibly want and need, the furniture was lovely and in excellent taste, very English cottage! There were two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower which was perfect for us as I love a bath and my husband loves a shower! The bed was very comfortable and the bedrooms a good size. Liz and David were very welcoming and are keen gardeners which is reflected in their beautiful garden. The village of Armscote was very picturesque and quaint and worth a walk around. The Fuzzy Duck is well worth a visit, food is delicious, but make sure you book they get very busy!

My boyfriend and I stayed four days in the newly converted self-contained apartment, which is more like half of the thatched cottage. Beautiful big fire place and open plan kitchen and lounge, lovely garden for a glass of wine before dinner, and great hosts. Would highly recommend spring, summer, autumn or winter. Beautiful part of the UK and not far from lots of other beautiful little villages as well. We'll be back! Oh, and great country pub just around the corner.

This property has recently been converted from a B&B to a stand-alone cottage to rent. Next door are the owners Liz & David who are friendly and welcoming, there if you need them but not at all intrusive. This is a stunning thatched cottage in the quiet village of Armscote and with easy access to Stratford upon Avon and the beautiful surrounding Cotswolds. The lounge is charming, with an eclectic mix of furniture that is warm, cosy and comfortable with an enormous inglenook fireplace to enjoy on a winters day and a flat screen TV and DVD player. The generous dining table would seat up to 8 diners and the open plan kitchen is tastefully modern with a breakfast bar, fridge, dishwasher, electric fan oven and a digital ceramic hob. Upstairs are two delightful cottage bedrooms with very comfortable beds and quality bedding. The bedrooms are beautifully laid out, and with an en-suite bathroom each are just perfect. The whole cottage has gorgeous soft furnishings and is tastefully and sympathetically decorated. The cottage garden is just as you would imagine it should be, with masses of flowers and ample seating on the grass to sit and enjoy the surroundings, a resident cat who is handsome and welcoming and friendly birds are regular visitors to various feeders. It was a perfect weekend break with friends and we have already booked again for the autumn. Highly, highly recommended to all.

My mother and I recently stayed at Willow Corner for 3 nights and we could not thank David and Liz enough for being such marvellous hosts. Willow Corner is in a gorgeous location which we used as a base for tours of the Cotswolds. There is a pub across the road for evening meals. As we were without a car, and the nearby Pub decided to stop opening on Mondays since we had booked, David and Liz offered to drive us to another local or collect fish and chips for us. We chose the latter, and ended up having a lovely dinner in front of a cosy fire, lit for us in their lovely guest sitting room. They were also very caring and lovely with my mother, who had not been well. The cottage itself is lovely. Lovely garden, picturesque location and thatched roof! The rooms were immaculate, very comfortable and pretty. We were glad of electric blankets and lots of hot water as the weather was cooling down! The beds were very comfortable, lovely linen and towels also meant were were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with fruit, cereals, toast as well as a cooked to order hot breakfast. There was even Vegemite for us Australians! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here, and would recommend Willow Corner for any travellers looking to visit this area.
