Opened between 1852 and 1854 the original buildings have been completely renovated and individually decorated. Three of the buildings circa 1852-1854 at Vichy Springs Resort are the oldest standing structures in Mendocino County. Bed and Breakfast is offered in 18 rooms and 8 self-contained cottages 2 are disabled accessible. A few feet from the accommodations await the 10 bathing tubs built in 1860 and used by the rich and famous in Californias history including Jack and Charmaigne London Mark Twain Teddy Roosevelt and his daughter Alice Ulysses Grant and pugilists Jim Corbett and John L.
