There is a living room with an attached kitchen, the kitchen fully equipped with the latest modern appliances. There is also a washing machine, and the flat comes with linens and towels. In the living room there is a TV with DVD player, as well as wireless internet. Through the whole flat there is air conditioning and heating available. The building has an elevator, something not so common with the older apartments in this area. The decoration is tasteful and modern, and while the building is close to many main attractions, it is still a quiet neighborhood surrounded mainly by pedestrian paths, or roads only lightly-traveled by cars. Also great is the location. You will be right near the Palau de Musica, one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. It is easy to see why this has been chosen as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You are in the El Born district, which is home to a vibrant nightlife scene, the Picasso museum, and is a fun place to go in the city. Nearby is the Gothic quarter and Las Ramblas, rife with nooks and crannies to explore and delight yourself with. If you travel a bit farther you can find yourself in the Raval neighborhood, with the MACBA museum and the Liceu opera theater. And if you venture out the same distance in the opposite direction, you can find yourself at the Barceloneta beaches.
