There is a work desk with chair, and another comfortable armchair which is great for relaxing while reading a book, for example. The second bedroom is smaller, but also has a comfortable double bed and wardrobes for clothes. There are reading lights and 2 large windows for natural lighting. The living area serves as lounge, dining room and kitchen. There is a large sofa, which can also be converted into a comfortable double bed if necessary, and a dining table with chairs. The apartment includes a flatscreen TV with cable channels and free high-speed wi-fi Internet. There are plenty of terrace cafés on both sides of the main road, and on some days of the week there are book fairs, or stalls selling artisan products. The nearest Metro station is called Avenida, and is also within 3 minutes' walk. Once you reach the Avenida da Liberdade, it is less than 5 minutes to reach the main squares of Restauradores - where there is a Tourist Information office - and Rossio, probably Lisbon's most central point. From Rossio, you can take the train to reach Sintra in 25 minutes - a great choice for a daytrip! Apart from the main downtown squares, there are plenty of other sights within walking distance of the apartment: the Santa Justa Elevator, which provides stunning city and river views from its top-floor deck, the Ribeira das Naus riverfront walkway, the Elevador da Glória funicular railway, and it is quite easy to walk to the Bairro Alto and Alfama districts from here.
