The villa basement is occupied by the house keepers who take care of property maintenance. Montepulciano Lake and its Natural Preserve is a short distance away while Lake Trasimeno (the third largest lake in Italy) is 10 km away and offers water sport facilities (surf, water ski, rowing), the islands of this lake (accessible by ferries) are worth a visit.
